Thanks Kelvin! 👍 U are the rare few providing lots of research and background and even provided spreadsheets for reference; not just talking vaguely on complex subjects.
Moo moo and tiger for sure , Ibkr if you wanna deposit the exchange is alway -$2 so u need like a certain amount that you won’t lose to the exchange fee .. as for moo moo and tiger when you put in 10 dollar also can change to usd no need deduct fee
Thanks Kelvin for the comparison table. May I know for right issuance, can we use Moomoo to subscribe? If we wanted to request for additional allotment, is it easy to do it using Moomoo? I mean for Singapore stocks. It is very common for REITs to have right issuance
Posting the reply from here www.moomoo.com/community/feed/110466809331717 Typically, you will get an email from moomoo (corporateactions@sg.moomoo.com) asking you what you want to do: option 1: exercise the rights allotted, option 2: no action (default) You have the option to apply for excess rights on top of your allotment but this is not guaranteed - so it can be fully/partially accepted or rejected (same for CDP). You will have to reply to them by a certain cut-off date (usu. earlier than CDP), and ensure you have enough fund for deduction on this cut-off date. The default action will apply if they do not hear from you by cut-off date or your account does not have enough fund for deduction on the cut-off date.
Which broker offer non custodian account? For IBKR, are the offering the same whether it is a US or Singapore account? Are there any maintenance fees for from IBKR for holding ASX stocks?
Hi Kelvin, would you please advise if there is $2 charges for Interactive Broker every month if I do a recurring monthly investment? I'm only starting at us$200/month, so am concern that high cost will eat into gains if any
Thanks Kevin for the very useful content! If I use a Singapore bank account, which broker would you recommend to avoid service fees for currency exchange rate?
In terms of commission fees, moomoo is indeed cheaper when trading large amounts, cos of their fixed fee. But you also need to take into account the currency conversion loss. Webull fx rate is better than Moomoo
@KelvinLearnsInvesting I understand but for SG market no conversion fee when we are investing in sgd. Can I conclude that for a Singaporean who investing in SG market, Moomoo is the cheapest as compared to webull after adding up all the fees?
Cannot, cos most of them no link to cdp. But i think tiger got link, u can try research that. One way is to do a transfer of shares to the new broker, some brokers have shares transfer in promo now

Thank you for sharing the detailed comparison. It’s awesome 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Kelvin, may I know how to download the free spreadsheet? Do we need to sign up the Ko-fi account to download it?

Hi Kelvin wondering any updated version to this?
Thanks for the great comparison!
HI Kelvin, if I already got USD, which are the best brokers to buy US and UK stocks besides IBKR? Am I able to fund with USD to CMC?
what about etoro?
Novice here.
What is the difference between odd lot and fractional share?
Odd Lot = 11 shares. Fractional shares=0.5 shares
Thank you! Very useful!
how about CDP linkage? tiger now can right?

What does "no live data" mean? (Under the con of interactive broker)
The prices have a 15 min delay
Just curious, why no mention about DBS Vickers cash upfront for sg market?
The fee is $10. Not exactly a low cost broker
Great work! Thanks
Hi Kelvin. I am now in Malaysia, can I use any of the platform to purchase Singapore share? Tq
Thanks Kevin for the very useful content!
If I use a Singapore bank account, which broker would you recommend to avoid service fees for currency exchange rate?
There’s no service fee. The currency exchange rate depends on the broker, rather than the bank.
All broker are regulated by sec?? I trust only interactive
Thanks Kelvin.
Isn't webull cheap considering the fact if one was to purchase 1000bux per mth once, its only 50c. But it gets pricey on the selling??
Can show me your calculation?
Is it regulated
How come when I compare between moomoo and webull for sg market, moomoo is cheaper?
In terms of commission fees, moomoo is indeed cheaper when trading large amounts, cos of their fixed fee.

i think u shld mention about the risk of custody account by these brokers
Covered here ua-cam.com/video/jvMaFy8JH_k/v-deo.htmlsi=X0NGdztRrFbqJObs
Is the recurring fees only applied to the recurring plan?
Recurring fees apply to the holdings, not recurring plan
What about Charles Schwab??
U didnt mention china or hk shares or etfs?
It’s probably at 3:47
Can i use these brokers to sell my existing shares held in CDP account?
Cannot, cos most of them no link to cdp. But i think tiger got link, u can try research that.
One way is to do a transfer of shares to the new broker, some brokers have shares transfer in promo now
fund supermart can. not sure about the rest.
poems can.
I incorporated a company in Singapore ? Can I use any of these brokers ?
Hi how about AXI broker?
That broker is more for trading eh..
great video
Hi what you think of octa fx ? Real or scam ?
Its real. But not licensed by mas, and is very high risk
@ hi thanks for the fast reply , what do u mean by high risk? From what I know is some people can’t withdraw out the money.
@@Ben-b6p5n Copying other traders blindly is high risk. As for the withdrawal part, I'm unsure
Ibkr for the win
Can I organise a meeting if you are in Singapore
Best broker to buy Ireland sp500?
Look at 5:01
what about octa? been hearing alot about them given that they can trade fx and commodities as well

Tiger Brokers really gone to shit already
What happen?
Not true that Poems has zero commission for Poems. There is a SGD25 for all trades I make.
Are you using their cash plus account or cash management account? The account that I’m referring to here is the cash plus account
@KelvinLearnsInvesting
Nope, just the usual one. I have this account for decades and my lousy broker did not advise me.

@@raymondng2699 If you don't need the CDP feature. It's better to switch to save on fees
tigerrrrr
IBRK is the best. No discussion.
Got pros and cons. Yes, best in terms of pricing. But lacking in some other places
Able to one purely for options. In terms of margin loans and amount of margin allocated with fees as well for trading?
