You also have to calculate lead time for payment to be made, particularly if you order from Alibaba.

Great video Crescent, this is often overlooked and avoiding going out of stock is essential after investing in a product launch. I ordered a predicted 2 months of stock as wanted to ensure I had time to order the next batch if sales went to plan (my lead time is about 6 weeks), i'm now 10 days into the launch and already looking to re-order :-)

@@CrescentKao Yes it's my first product. Initially i only wanted to order 300 units (to minimise risk with it being my first product), however, I increased that to 500 for the reasons you gave in the video 😀👍

Love your video. Learned a lot! Thanks! I am wondering if I need to register a trademark/brand name in order to private label a product? Can i sell the original manufacturer's brand name product first? Since it is the first initial order, should i wait until the products have some good reviews and proven stat to show that the product is a great product before branding it?
I'm glad you find value in the videos! You don't need to register a trademark to private label. I suggest putting your brand/logo on immediately to avoid hijackers.

Hi Crescent, Thankyou for making these videos. They are very helpful. Can I please ask how should I go about pricing the product while product launching? Should I price below average or should I do my target price with atleast 30% margin already? Thanks
You're welcome! During a product launch, I recommend setting the price around the bottom 20-30% of the average range. So, if the average price range is $15-25 then set it to around $16-18 to start. Once you get to the first page, you can raise the price and test different price points.
So what happens if you are trying a superior quality and your cost price is high.Keeping it low will be selling at loss.really need your input on this.thanks

@@CrescentKao Oh. So you can still rank to the first page using discounts? I thought Amazon changed that to only rank listings when they're selling at full price, or when discounted 5% or so. My latest understanding was that you only discount your listing to boost sales in hopes to get reviews.

If I have a super short lead time from my manufacturer (regardless of order quantity) of 5-7 days, is there a way to do backorders and not have to remove my listing? Just figured I'll be able to fulfill an order within 2 weeks even if I don't have inventory in stock.

Amazing way of explaining. How to do the giveaway ? As tried with reviewer to refund them on the product but always getting Warning from amazon as no idea how they trigger it.

Gosh it seems like forever...so production/lead time can be from 15 to 50 days, depending on item, then shipping by sea is another 2-3 weeks?
You'd have to ask the supplier that information. It depends on how the product is manufactured, the time of year, how busy they are, etc etc.
Very helpful video, so if expected sales per day is 33 would that mean ordering 990 units? To last 30 days

The actual costs will vary depending on the niche and how competitive it is. Being aggressive means you're bidding high enough to make sure your ad is at the top of the first page for all your main keywords, whatever that happens to end up costing and running a high enough daily budget to get clicks.

Not if you've done your product research and planning correctly. Shipping by sea will increase your margins.
