I'm in zone 5 Ontario Canada should I also follow same 3 dates? Got this nectarine tree 3 years ago and it's getting worse and worse 😢 Last year cut a huge section from the middle and it shot up 4 nice main branches so I have a nice vase shape. It's in bloom now but this morning noticed the leaf curl on the growing points of each main branch starting again. Should I cut the growing tips off?

Research seems to indicate that it's not like fire blight, where you have to prune off the affected branches. If you want to remove leaves you can do that. I also suggest checking with your local nursery for the timing for dormant oil spray in your area. You're supposed to hit it before buds swell, but I'm not sure what happens when snow/frost is a major factor. A local nursery professional or arborist will know better about the timing in your area.

@@FLIPMODE630 Sorry, it's written on the screen, but if viewers are visually impaired, that might not be clear. I will add it to the transcription to clarify it.
