Your perceived limitations are not mine. I wanted a smooth-riding truck that was easy to get in and out and could handle the stuff I buy from lowes or Home Depot. Also, 27mpg on the interstate at 72mph is super. Screw the 4-banger turbo, they don't last!!!!!!!!!
I like the 6cyl non hybrid. I keep my vehicles for 200 - 300k miles. I’ll never have to buy expensive batteries or turbochargers. I would like a little more ground clearance and a longer bed.

I've owned a lot of trucks but this is the best little truck I've ever owned
I have a 2023 and this truck is this best one I’ve ever owned. It does exactly I need it to do. I don’t want or need a hybrid model either.
The engines and transmissions regularly go to 350,000 miles to 400,000 miles, so it could potentially go twice as long as its competitors.

It needs a minimum of 9” ground clearance and a more squared off front end. The 1st gen was almost there.
It needs to at least have customization options like proper lift and bigger tires without rubbing issues.
