I looked at a ton of UA-cam videos listen to a bunch of reviews and was very impressed with the Chevy, Colorado ZR2. now I own one and very impressed. Glad I made decision to buy one.

Highlander is my next vehicle, hopefully by spring. My Toyota Solaria is 23 yrs old and still runs extremely well with very little repair expense! Love Toyota!

When you said cramped rear seats ,I couldn’t help but think of pathetic leg room of the new Tacoma.

Holy moly I didn't realize how bad it was. The new Tacoma is even more beautiful than the past, and I didn't think it could be improved upon. But these issues are GLARING us in the face- yikes! A truck with a turbo 4? A truck that costs as much as some of my dream sports cars? Transmission issues already in the first 1k miles? Get out of here! Gone are the legends of Tacoma's from the 90s lasting 500k miles.

I,ll trust Tacoma. I,m buying a 2024 end of the month. The discount is awesome. The tranny problem was fixed early on. Anybody remember the 22 r. Toyota backs there problems, that all car manufacturers have. The rest just hire lawyer's. I,ll never buy another gm. The last new truck, bleed me dry. 4 transmissions, dealer charged me $1000 for a rebuilt computer, speedo built in. China broke right after warranty. So did the transfer case. Ya. Toyota.

I HAVE THE 2024 ELEVATION MODEL AND SO FAR I LOVE MY TRUCK.ITS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND NEEDED,,,,,,,I CHOOSE IT OVER THE TOYOTA TACOMA MAINLY BECAUSE OF ITS ROBUST FRONT END AND THE POWER FUL 4 cylinder turbocharged engine,,,,,SO FAR I AM SATISFIED

If the price is like what we see in the past, I would not be considering buying one you put a new light here and there and try to justify why you have outrageous prices. You still would not dress real liability. You can put new engines in all you want. How is the reliability?

What happened to the quality, reliability, and over engineering of the good old Toyota trucks?! Legendary trucks like the 80 series landcruisers, GXs, Tacomas, and Tundras. Toyota is effing up big time. 🤦🏻

I have a 2024 Pathfinder, and it has been a pleasure to drive. I have taken it on extensive drives, and the V6 is no disappointment, pulling over the mountains with ease. Not necessary, but I always use premium fuel, giving it a little kick. Highly recommend it, as long as they keep the V6. Four Bangers are quick and fun, had one with Twin Turbo's, blew to valves at 18,000 miles, they fully honored their warranty beyond satisfactory, so I will not mention the mfg, however, those little engines, with clamoring pistons, and Turbo's in the mix is a stretch, if anyone thinks they are going get longevity, out of those herniated puppies!

I was in the market for a new vehicle and wanted to buy either a Toyota Tacoma or Highlander but I’m passing on it now. I want a V6 engine. I’ll go back to a Honda Pilot, which I still have a 2019 model.

I just called Toyota, and explained to them all this short comings. I really would like to see a DIESEL engine and a more affordable price in the Tacoma.

I just picked up a 2025 Corolla Cross XLE and it has the home link with manual dimming. Does Toyota still offer the auto dimming mirror. I had a 2022 XLE with the auto dimming feature Reply

I just traded in a 2012 Xterra with 159k miles on a 2023 Pathfinder they had been purchased two years ago and had 29k miles on it. I got the basic Pathfinder S, which lacks a lot of the features. Do not be fooled; this is not an off-road vehicle. It is not "ready for any adventure". Like so many other AWD SUVs, it's basically a glorified minivan. They should have just named it the Rogue XL, because the Pathfinder name implies capability that just isn't there. For the occasional trip down a gravel country road it will be fine, but this Pathfinder isn't going to be "finding paths" out in the wild. The Rock Creek has a .6" lift and one size larger tires, and that costs you 4 mpg hwy (24 vs 27). Incidentally, mine averages 21.5 mpg in mixed driving so the mpgs aren't fantastic either.

Toyota has a 4 cylinder too.

Toyota has been on top with consumers, but their prices are out of control and the average consumer can no longer afford them - not to mention the new changes that raise a lot of questions on reliability. I will not buy another one…

It’s slower (who needs to go 0-60 in 3 seconds? It’s a mom car) It doesnt have luxury interior (it’s not a luxury vehicle) It’s loud (which it’s not) maybe compared to a EV lol.

What a lousy review. Noting but talk about what does not matter. All the matters is what will be the total cost of ownership over 300,000 miles. My current 2017 Highlander has 200,000 miles, no repairs of any kind other than oil, breaks etc. Will the 2025 match this? This review gives nothing.

C'mon Motor Maven...do some basic research. A downside is no Mega Cab option? The Ford Crew Cab has larger dimensions across all front and rear interior measurements except front headroom (-.1") and front hip room (-.4"). Rear leg, hip, shoulder and head room all are larger in the Ford. Plus you can only get the Mega Cab in the upper trim levels and only with a short bed which is 5" shorter than the Ford short bed. The Ford Crew Cab is available in all trim levels and with both the short bed and long bed versions.

We have rock creek 2023 it’s really a Japanese car. I’m contented with MPG, look, and performance.

I have a 2009 no d's. Pilot with 185 thousand miles on it, and I hate to get rid of it because it has never broken down on me, and still has the original engine and transmission in it. All I have done is do the maintenance o on it, you can't say that about the new one's

I looked at a new Tacoma and just couldnt get over the price. Then i looked at the Tundra but couldnt get a v8. Ended up with a double cab gmc sierra with the 3.0 diesel that i found $10k off with 1.99% financing and never looked back. I own Toyota stock, wanted a Toyota but it just couldnt happen. Very pleased with my GMC.

I bought a 2023 4x4 extended cab 2.7. I wanted the tried and true.
