Nope, they have problems as well with the V-8. The problems are appearing around 200K miles with some head gaskets being blown and the heads becoming warped. Just wait on the 2025 and get the new one.
Waiting for new engines to be ironed out, love the v8 but didnt excpect them to keep them moving forward. One thing toyota honors their warranties unlike gmc and ford or dodge, still a reliable v8 will last forever with maintenance
Did they fix the plastic dash rattle/hum, plastic door panel rattle, and the wind leakage between the door seals when going faster than 55mph? If so, my 2024 needs some of those "fixes."
I just bought a 2025 and there are no rattles or wind noise. There is a rattle when I turn the bass all the way up and crank the stereo volume though. It's a pretty nice truck tbh. I didn't know anything about these vehicles but bc of the bad press from the early engines, I got 72 months at 0 percent so I called the dealer and bought it.
I have a 2008 limited 6 passenger 4.7 l with 110000 m. why would I buy a new one till all bugs are ironed out. Been a reliable truck and bought it used.
ok let look at it first put a turbo on the V8 and see what you get . then towering with 8 000 RPM to get the Horsr power the motor not going to like it
I love this truck
Don’t wait, buy a 2021 now!
I did😎

@@kennethwalton5582don't use 0w20....use the original oil spec of 5w30. Your engine will thanked you.

seems like 2K mile engine replacement schedule is not long enough.. i got 360K on my first gen,. so...
Did they solve the engine, turbos, rear diff and poor fit/finish issues?
No.
new engine? V8?
Halfway into this, and I hear a maybe this will get 1000lbs more towing. The rest sounds basically the same as the 2024s.

look at a v6 twin turdo like i said put a twin turbo on my 5.7 that bitch would run
Where's the tow hooks?😢
Sorry I will keep my 08 tundra, the new ones are garbage.
Too much money for a truck. It’s not a luxury vehicle it’s a truck no matter what you put in it. Supposed to be a work truck for the working folks.
2022 and up Toyota tundra are junk and junk. They try to buy new one folks. Where is the standard tow hook? Stupid and dumb engineering
agreed junk
