"Are there Easter eggs in there you didn't get the first time?" 🤣
This show is amazing at the one liners.
One of my favourite Succession episode ever. Damn that hit hard with Kendall at the end and Greg and Toms chemistry is the best in this show lol. It was for sure Logan who made sure they installed taller glasses because he probably saw Kendall contemplating suicide through the security cam.
Colin's the one that brought him to the safe room, so he's probably the one that caught Kendal standing on the edge like that and informed Logan about it.
Definitely the funnest episode of S2!
That's right, that's why at the beginning of the episode they actually show a security cam shot with Ken going up the stairs. This show is perfectly thought.
“Where are they those papers ?” 😅 “I’ll never tell “ 😂😂😂😂
Arrested Development narrator: "He would tell him very soon."
The moment Shiv realizes something is genuinely wrong with Kendall and tries to actually comfort him is one of my favorites in the show. The siblings have been so manipulated and traumatized that they constantly fight and view everything as a move to be made, so a moment of genuine connection is rare. Kendall is making himself vulnerable to attacks, and Shiv actually doesn't use it but comforts him.
Shivs facial expression says a lot: She doesnt know how to comfort people. And I like that they made this a consistent character trait.
Small detail that a lot of people miss. When Roman calls Gerri, she's watching the news on PGN.
Yeah this one is definitely an all-timer. The Rhea stuff, the Kendall and Shiv stuff, the Tom and Greg stuff, Ravenhead, Roman and Gerri, this episode is just packed with so much.
Sarah Snook acts with her facial expressions so damn well! What I love the most about this show is that every line, even the funny ones, is so consistent with what's going on in the story.
guys don't judge the normies too harshly on these succession reactions. it was a different time back when they recorded them.
What different time?

You know, reactors of that generation...
every single scene in this episode is peak
That revised eulogy was the hardest I've laughed at any new TV in a very long time when I got to this episode - arguably the best episode in the series!
Very super funny. Connor is an expert at using words to accomplish nothing haha.
How is this comment from 2 months ago when this video was uploaded 12 hours ago??

“Aren’t fascist people old?” I swear to god Pat has to be doing this to piss people off at this point. This dude is a danger to society.
Pat is a human bad take.
I LOVE this episode. That Kendall scene is just heartbreaking. He’s literally trapped in a glass cage. He doesn’t even have the comfort of knowing he has atleast one choice available to him, even if it is suicide, but now even that has been controlled and taken away by his dad.
I’m an attorney: a therapist does not have to inform authorities if a crime has happened, only if they believe their patient will commit a future crime and even then, they are not obligated to say anything. Crazy but therapist/client privileged is really strong, it varies among states but that’s the just of it.
Once again Nikki talking out of her butt not knowing what she is saying
Facts. Just like with a priest. They have a sacred duty to take your confessions to the grave.
Interesting, I’m a school psychologist so I provide evaluations (IQ, SEL, Academic etc) to students and I also do counseling in school. We are mandated reporters and are legally bound to report a harmful crime whether it’s the past present or future.
One of my fave eps! One tidbit- the glass walls were def added cuz Logan is worried about Kendall. At the start of the episode, notice they show Kendall approaching the roof through the perspective of security cameras - he’s being watched, and it’s why Logan thought it might’ve been Kendall who was responsible for the gunshot.
At the end it's definitely about Kendall because we are to assume that he kept going up there which is why Logan kept asking after Kendall. However it could also be looked at as a cage for Kendall and how he has now accepted his fate as being Logan's caged bird this season. He's been trying to fight it but for the rest of the season we see him navigating this life.
Jeremy strong acting masterclass in this episode
The more I rewatch this series, the more I think that this episode is my favourite of the whole show. There are so many brilliant ones, but I love how this includes all the different strengths of Succession - it's very funny via Tom & Greg and also Connor at the funeral; it's got the business dealings; great sibling dynamics and yet it's also got some strong emotional depths via the Kendall storyline, both his emotional state, how that links with the shooting and through that scene with Shiv. It has all the elements that make the show so good, alongside fantastic acting, writing and direction.
This is one of the best episodes of the show. The character dynamics and arcs are really great in that one
When I watched Boar on the Floor for the first time I thought it cant get much better than that. Then immediately theres this episode. Honestly one of the best episodes of this show and, oh boy, there are some all-timers coming up. That boat one and the retired janitors one for example
32:18 just because other people deal with shit and don’t get the help they deserve isn’t a reason to not feel bad for someone.
Thank you Suraj for pointing that out
Pat is wired differently, for sure.
Pierce Media Group is a basically an analog for The New York Times, a 170 year old journalistic institution that is a publicly-traded company owned primarily by one family - the Sulzbergers. I don't think it's an especially liberal publication (despite some claims to the opposite), but it is decidedly further to the left than ATN's real world counterpart, Fox News. Anyway, the Pierces are the Sulzbergers to the Roy family's Murdochs. And PGM is The New York Times to ATN's Fox News. The Pierces are wealthy old money New England liberals who don't care for the culture war stuff pushed by ATN, a company which is run by a wealthy new money (Logan didn't come from money) fascism-tolerating brute.
The Treason Times isn't as Left as it is possible to get?
Good Lord...
I feel like Logan asking if Kendall was alright was because he thought that Kendall might have been the office suicide.
"If Dad didn't need me right now, I don't know what I would be for"
Some hairstyles just are so fucking perfect that it haunts me. Shiv and her BOB. I’m sorry but I’m obsessed with how she looks this season.
I've always wondered if the guy who killed himself was the guy Tom was playing Foot Stoop Fiesta with. That would be a dark bow on this episode.
I think it's heavily suggested that it was him, yes.
25:58 Rana’s face 😂
These are some of the best scenes between greg and tom.
This is one of my fav reactions ever. So many great moments in this episode.
I was having a mental breakdown down thinking they forgot 😭😭😂
one of my favorite succession episode!!! Lots of funny moments, rhea's introduction and the negociations, and kendall and shiv's conversation all in one episode!! Also THEE beginning of roman and gerri, one of my favorite relation in the show. And Jeremy Strong and Sarah Snook are simply amazing
My favourite episode. It's iconic.
I think this is the funniest episode of the whole show. So many amazing lines and tomelette moments
Rana’s visceral reaction to the Roman/Gerri scene was too funny 😂
Best episode of the show.
Tom and Greg are the true love story of Succession.
do yall not remember that kendall didnt even turn the wheel into the water
Best reaction so far 😂
25:13 ranas face lmao
A perfect episode
One of my fav eps!
I love Rana's reaction to Roman's phone call
Succession is one of the best comedies of all times.
Suraj was interested in reaction videos from a very young age
if kendall came forward he would be charged with vehicular manslaughter
36:59; Pat unsurprisingly got the number/value very wrong about Endeavor's $21.4bn UFC & WWE merger to form 'TKO Group' - was clearly not "in the 50 range"!
MAN, season 2 was the peak of the show, soooooo good
kendall pours his heart out to shiv in the last moment of this ep, and then talks back to her in the opening scene of the next ep LMAO
My fave succession episode ever
Ranas face at the Gerry & Roman call!! 😂😂
Loved your reaction as always❤. You should watch society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one.
Listening to your therapy conversation I think you guys haven't seen The Sopranos. Put it on the list!
Does Greg's blackmail hold tight if he stays at ATN and takes Tom at his word? If he leaves, he could find a job position that's actually decent, maybe.
I agree with pat, that kendall put himself into that situation but suraj is right that he is also victim of addiction and u can feel an ounce of sympathy for him p.s I feel like kendall confessing to his crimes isn't that simple, all of us are human ,we may feel guilty for our crimes but for the sake of our image ,we want to stay innocent. Kendall definitely feels guilty, he could have confessed, but taking the easy way out felt safer.
So lucky Tucker Carlson is free now and can provide great content as the Milei interview. Libertad carajo!
Roman reacts to abuse.
The Normos
11:28 I think its fine reading things you disagree with, tom questioning though made chris defensive like if he was getting questioned haha
Sure He said some dumb shit but Pat also had some good discussion points this episode too. I Don’t think people should Be as harsh on him as they are being during this series, honestly I think the audience this show / reactions attracts does just happen to be quite outspokenly patronising
Look up the price of these blank baseball caps
Soooooo when is The Incredibles reaction coming?
"aren't fascist people old people though" can I get an edit that's muted whenever pat talks
Pat made many good observations though. That wasn't one of them, but he had them.
Honestly, usually I think people are too hard on pat, but man that one was painful
@@scottboswell6406 I don't really care how many "good observations" he makes when in turn he makes so many statements like this. I usually don't comment much either (negatively or positively) but keeping up with a series where pat is involved has turned me into a hater
Where is my Samurai Champloo!!?? lol

Not the first time Suraj as said he liked a particular kink in a show or movie... & I'm here for it too!😁
Connor Roy was interested in politics at a very young age.
1:35 lmao
This episode is amazing. Even with all the privilege and money no one is truly safe. And the suicide shows that happiness is fleeting, and we are our own worst enemies. No room can save you from yourself
Kendall S tier character
Did Shiv ever actually tell Gill about the parks? I know she used it to leverage her dad in the deal with Gil to chill, but if she did tell Gil that’s as big of a betrayal as Kendall’s
I just wanna say that you guys really are Connor Roy was interested in politics from a very young age
28:30 Jada: That part. 👉🏿
Yall should watch Peep Show. Same creator as this show. Much more of a straight up comedy. Gets super f cked up. 30 minute episodes. Really finds its footing around episode 4 imo
Watch Deadpool and Wolverine Official Trailer
Succession is so fucking good.
When I first watched the scene between Gerri and Roman, I always saw it as Roman having power over Gerri because if anything got out, she would lose her job and reputation because she's not blood family. Roman would be fine.
I never really considered the power Gerri has over Roman. She's been in his life since he was a child and that knowledge creates an opportunity for manipulation and abuse of power.
1:39 nikki is only loud when she’s provoked
Guys normies get everyone together because Deadpool and Wolverine's new trailer just came out today
Connor Roy is interested in politics from a very young age…
They’re talking about Disney while Apple has like 3 trillion in the bank and could buy Disney and still have change
😲
Disney literally bought fox 21 cth
40:35 anti trust laws are socialist ? Wasn’t clear but is that what Chris said?
I think that he was joking to get a rise out of Pat.
@@AT-rr2xw would pat even understand the lure? Haha
@@bigpictureguys8415 Chris calling him a socialist seems like enough of a lure.
@@AT-rr2xw I didn’t think he called anyone socialist I just thought he called anti trust laws socialist. Either way doesn’t matter just wanted to check
2:57 fascists are of all ages & political leanings. Different color same monster
One of my least favorite episodes. Felt like they didn't go hardcore enough with this. It could have been a dark episode about a serious matter but instead it was too light hearted.
11:15 why is everyone on couch so suss about that? Whats wrong with reading Hitler's biography or is is woke thing now 😂
It is the way of things these days. You can't be connected to anything "bad", even indirectly. Even 3 steps removed. Hitler was bad. So now reading his book makes you bad. Eating at a restaurant that once had him in it makes you bad. Talking to someone who once ate at a restaurant that once had him in it without punching them in the face for being a n*zi is makes you bad.
This applies to anything that is "bad", no matter how minor.
Please watch "Fleabag". Beautiful funny show
