Steeda Ultra-lite lowering springs 5. Steeda bumpsteer kit Done. Now you have a much faster and better handling Mustang and all those mods cost under $1500

The factory intake is a TRUE cold air intake all those other round exposed filters only pull hot air from the engine bay....TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY and HP! The tune is what is producing the gains NOT the aftermarket hot air intake.
Utah county Picazo's page it sure can pull more hot air, but hot air is an absolute power killer. The amount of power you gain is negated true to the increase of IATs. Best option is a K&N drop in performance air filter
Why wouldn't you just plug all the vacuum hoses and put air breathers on your valve covers so it gets rid of that shit without it coming back in your engine
Listen up, forget the cold air intake, these oil filled elements will allow much more dirt into the engine and shorten its life, just stick with the paper filter and original air box. Also, removing the air box that pulls in outside air to being open under hood is pulling in much hotter air, not sure where the term cold-air intake came from. Just avoid these all together if you want your engine to last and not start smoking from worn piston and rings at 50k miles.
they kinda used a crappy one for the video but when they have the dam that surrounds the filter and the tube that connects to the front grille it will bring in lower temp air from outside the car because its sealed to the hood when its closed
Just traded my ecoboost for a 5.0 and couldn’t be happier. My ride is bone stock and I can only imagine the power I am yet to unlock. It’s on like donkey Kong folks
Absolutely LOVE that you guys showed mods being done to a '18 that has BOTH Magenride & Active Exhaust! Super stoked to know that I can improve on those factory features once I get mine.
Need to get a real cold air intake that seals the intake from the hot air of the engine and utilize the actual cooler air from the vent. Like the Roush. Other than that, awesome video as always! Gotta love Steph!
Great ideas for my 2018... already purchased, the xpipe, lowering springs, wheel spacers, and headers from you guys.... saving for the cold air intake, gt 350 manifold, and a dyno tune.

well I am late to the party but I just did the first mods for my 2020 GT, Roush Axle back with black tips and Ford performance power pack and wow what a difference, the sound and the extra power plus I like the idea of having a tune done by Ford Performance.

Nothing wrong with the ecoboost, they are plenty fast and fun in their own right, just don't have the sound most people associate with the mustang. IMO the ecoboost is a serious upgrade to the v6 they used to have.
So you want to do the tune once all of those other mods are in place since they do a custom tuning file based on your specific car and current mods right?
I have a 2019 GT PP2 and I got steeda lower springs so the pp2 comes with the GT350R and Its all ready half a inch lower than the PP1 so after I put them on it lowed it only half inch and its a softer spring and mine came with the michelin sport cups 2 and it sits like a tank and there is nothing much lower than it is
I keep seeing this on dyno graphs with these GT upgrades and I'd like to know why: The "before" graph shows they only run the car to around 7k rpm while the "after" graph is run almost to 8k rpm, why is this? This is going to skew the results.
Exactly what they want to do . Like dyno the car stock , with thd hood down and 87 octane and then tune it , run it with 93 octane and the hood up on the dyno.
The tune most likely extended the RPM range. Tunes are known to increase the rev limiter. The other guys in this comment section are obviously amateurs that don't know this.

AmericanMuscle.com Ok, so the speed limit is adjusted on the tune? I've never tuned a S550, all the cars I tuned NEVER had a speed limiter per gear, only top speed. Seems odd and off to have a top speed limited in a low gear.......... wouldn't the gear simply be rev limited? S550 rev to 7k....do they not? You're tell me in 5th gear you can not rev all the way to redline?? If that's true, it's an odd feature I've never came across in all my years in the performance industry. My comments may seem negative, I'm actually looking into purchasing an S550, which Is why I'm subbed to your channel. A pet peeve of mine is skewed dyno charts. Can stand other tuners doing it, I don't do and hate when it's done. Show data in SAE, not STD, don't ping limiter to try to get that extra hop up top for peak numbers, etc......just show what the car actually does. Appreciate yours videos, sorry if this seemed negative. Just trying to understand why it appears the stock pull was cut short.
It depends on the gearing- but yes some cars with a very tall rear gear will hit the speed limiter before redline is achieved in the 1:1 gear. Tunes typically remove the speed limiter along with raising the rev limiter but its going to be different car to car, tune to tune. And for the record, all of our runs are done using SAE correction factor and 9 times out of 10 the car will be pulled to the limiter. Hope this clears things up and good luck with the new ride. -Justin
AmericanMuscle.com Perfect sense. Not sure why it didn’t occur to me you would hit speed limiter in 5th...shows you my knowledge base on S550’s gearing. Most of the cars I play with usually hit in high gear (6), but of course usually come in with no limiter at all...outside Rev. Appreciate the response, also edited my comment as it was pretty unfair without knowing all the facts.
While I love watching these videos, whether here or other channels, there is never any apparent mention of losing your factory warranty once you have done the tune. I doubt if the manufacture of the after market cold air intake or AM (you are pushing this stuff, right!) will come to the party if Ford says, "your motor blew up because of the tune you did" or more simply, "as you have done a tune, you're warranty is void". The customer will always be the pickle in the sandwich. Not worth blowing your factory warranty for that small amount of additional HP. You should be saying, doing the tune is at the customer's risk.
That's because there is no clear cut, end of discussion answer. What is and isn't covered by a warranty (which in and of itself can define MANY different areas of your car) is defined differently from dealer to dealer. Now talking about how a tune might affect your power train warranty is valid but even still can be open to interpretation. Short and simple, if you don't feel comfortable doing a mod, don't do it. -Justin
I have a 2016 GT manual trans of course and it's fast enough for me. Don't know how 435HP can ever be considered slow. I can make it faster if I want to, but don't feel the need to.
A Mustang Owner I have a 2017 (auto) and I’ve driven my buddies 2016 (Manual) and I agree it feels plenty fast but the idea of making near 500whp all motor with very few mods is very enticing for me... that and the fact I currently have a V6 and it is horribly slow

Is that the gt350 spoiler?
Car should come stock with these mods.. When the time comes, can I contact you to ship the parts to me ? :)
JLT/ ARH headers\ corsa extreme catback
What spoiler is that?
-Justin
How much for all those mods???
You forgot to mention new shift forks. 😂
A Mustang Owner That’s why if you want a Manual you get a 16 or a 17 and accept the now slow gen 2 coyote 😂
I have a 2016 GT manual trans of course and it's fast enough for me. Don't know how 435HP can ever be considered slow. I can make it faster if I want to, but don't feel the need to.
A Mustang Owner I have a 2017 (auto) and I’ve driven my buddies 2016 (Manual) and I agree it feels plenty fast but the idea of making near 500whp all motor with very few mods is very enticing for me... that and the fact I currently have a V6 and it is horribly slow
or people that know how to shift.....
Wait no heat shield on the intake? Lmao why
Iwas thinking that too. Suck the hot air right in.
Good Video! Thank you!
I would change headers first than the catback
I swear she took classes from Justin to present for the video hahaha she talks and waves her hands EXACTLY like Justin
VMP Supercharger next.
At 12:1 compression? You'll be driving over the crank soon enough...
Those springs only dropped it like a .50 in
Correct- that's what you are limited to with Magnaride. If you are looking to slam the car, magnaride is NOT a good starting point -Justin
