    Hey Taylor, I’m a retired basketball player so to speak and used all your programs from elite guard training, elite jump training, and egt vip. I’ve come back to your channel because I’m interested in the deep game to improve my life in other aspects. Are exercises/curriculum in the deep game program basketball specific? Or are they more general? Thanks

      Hey Ryan, happy to see you back here :) DeepGame can be applied directly to life as well as basketball. As a retired player you'll likely have an easy time taking the basketball stories/lessons and applying them to your life. We also plan to release a lot more non-basketball specific material in the coming months, through a new brand or new division of DeepGame.

    What can i do if i struggle to be consistent? I'm for Portugal, my court is cold sometimes and I get so tired after the school , but I rly want make it i want to work everyday but today I was so tired o fall asleep, but I'm feeling so sad for doing that it really hurt

      Everyone misses days sometimes. Feel the sadness, feel the hurt, and use it as fuel to push yourself back into training. Keep in mind that sometimes rest days are necessary, and if you're so tired you're falling asleep, chances are you need rest more than training. Make sure you're addressing recovery (tons of sleep, cold showers, nutrition, etc) so this doesn't happen often.

    Hi
    I had a game tdy and I couldn’t stop thinking, this had never happened to me before, after every play my mind was thinking things other than basketball, and I was not concentrating on the game. Can you give me some advice pls🙏🏼

      This happens to everyone, at times. Just because it happened once doesn't mean you've changed forever, so take it easy on yourself, and you'll bounce back soon. You don't need to feed it further thought.

    what goals should i have as a basketball player?

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Рік тому

      That is entirely up to you =)
      If you're unsure, go with what resonates/feels best with your body. If you have an idea in mind that doesn't feel good, it's probably not the right goal.

    You are the best coach Taylor
    My realisation is that we achieved our successes accidentally
    My question is; can someone decide to achieve a goal, and actually achieve it through will power?

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Рік тому +2

      It depends on the goal, but ultimately, willpower alone is not enough. If your goal is to pick up a glass of water, of course your willpower is a much bigger factor in being able to do that. If your goal is to be the best player in the NBA, obviously there are many more factors besides willpower, such as natural talent, your environment, the people you meet, and countless other factors.
      What is true, however, is that your willpower will take you somewhere, ultimately, which is best for you. Your willpower will make you a stronger person and a better person, and its this person who will be more prepared for pretty much anything. And so long as you use your willpower, what ends up happening is often better than what you wanted at first.
