I have done quite a few security camera installs, so I figured I would test out Ubiquiti's UniFi camera system that works with my Dream Machine Pro. This little camera, at only $79 each, I am very impressed with so far. However, I would say that I would recommend this for inside use more than outside use as the IR light is not very strong for open areas. I will go more into depth with this in my full review coming very soon! Enjoy the setup!

I use both myself. I have a home built BlueIrisSoftware server I been using for 5 years but I have had remote connectivity issues but it was cheap, the cameras are cheap but I recently changed my network to a UniFi setup and love the PTZ $1800 camera, who wouldn’t? And the G4 Pros. So now I have a mix of 6 and 6 for each system.

I only have the camara + AP, cant get it to work, Do I need a console, dream etc to make it work? thx
What camera is the best at night?
Wouldnt putting the ip adress on your video put you in danger of being hacked?

@@Platoface I have a Tapo 320ws that is $60.00 and blows that thing out of the water when it comes to night vision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, to answer your question: I want to be able to see at night! Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
@@Unknown-hu4gf while tapos are notorious for having vulnerabilities… I’d take the $79 option that integrates with the unifi ecosystem and runs local NVR in my house.
@@davedivesdeeper Please, pay attention and re-read what I said... And, the 320ws has no security issues and you can record to a NAS or NVR. So, there!
