Just unlocked the Finnish Mig-21bis and holy shit does it get dunked on (especially since it's still stock). 7/8 games were at 11.7 br so far and only once have I actually won a game and survived.
Its been a year since the upload of this video and the already pretty doodoo flight model has been nerfed a bit more and also the R-60MKs are a lot less reliable, they are infinitely more flare hungry now. For example that kill at 6:41 will never happen now.

You need some skill to play rank 7 premiums. That means for most of nations in the game you can just take a tech tree plane and research in the same way. If you've got skill, you probably have your texh tree unlocked almost completely. Which means you can just put a talisman on a tech tree vehicle. And it's ALOT cheaper. And you'll get your rank 8 much faster than a newbie on a 70-dollar plane lmao.
You could but the repair for tech-tree planes are so prohibitively expensive on the German side you basically have no choice if you want to fly germane consistently.
People aren't limited to playing one nation. A premium jet can help you with grinding out new nations. Personally, I'd rather go for something that isn't a copypaste, but still, it is a consistent grinder. Also, top tier doesn't require that much skill. The only part of top tier that does is BVR, and this doesn't have the equipment for it anyway.
I spent 3 months grinding for the in tree German BIS, but by the time the sales happened I had the 23-MLA so I put a Talisman that instead and this happened when the F-16 was added................................................................. PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

any tip for an f5c player to get rid of any mig-21 on it's tail? whenever I face mig-21s mess up and they get behind me I start turning keeping my speed at 0.90 mach and above but it either ends with one of us getting help from teammates or till one of us runs out of fuel. cant get rid of them they are always behind me and ready to fire the guns T_T
You should be turning circles around the mig21 at almost any speed, and forsure after the first initial turn the migs a sitting duck. Try flying and turning better I guess? Never had a mig stick on my tail in the f-5, even most mig23 wont turn with me
Bro what💀the f5c literally out matches the mig 21 performance in every way. The delta wing gives it good alpha pulling, but it bleeds all its fucking speed, and it's sustained turn eats shit.

I must be doing something wrong but IDK what I just keep speed above 0.90 and keep turning until I see them unable to keep up which never really happens.
@@aviosche8951 ah, that's the issue. The mig tends to bleed most of its speed in a turn. It does turn very well in the first couple seconds, so don't underestimate the Aoa of it. Make some quick maneuvers to make him bleed his speed, and try to run after.
that f16 who was camping at his base is very typical behavior in warthunder, happened to me 5 times in a row so i got kinda mad so i made a small rant on reddit calling them cowards for doing it, then i just got bashed by everyone yelling at me saying skill issue reeeeeeeee muhhhhhhhh it was the right move to camp at airfield muhhhh, then guess what, i got banned from reddit permanently because some warthunder subreddit mod likes to promote camping at the base. typical mod behavior👍

Isn‘t the event tornado probably the best prem for germany rn? 10.7, flares, 2 x aim 9L and enough bombs for 2 bases. Slap a Talisman on it and you got a rank 8 grinder
I need some tips with the f5c, lately, I've been struggling a lot climbing to the side doesn't work anymore because of tornado aim9l spam and going straight into the furball gets me killed 99% of the time it's hard for me to play passive it's just dull but dying all the time is very frustrating any help would be appreciated.
fly low on the left side and dont go first, look if all oponent team then go after them and just fly smart, look around and dont focus on 1 enemy, f5c is very easy to play if you know the cons of this plane and what to not do
Used the 21bis I had a talisman on to grind the mig29, actually was kinda having fun dunking on all the retards in their new premium r7s they bought with their mom's credit card. Of course the games where you just got focused by 5 freeaboos spamming sparrows weren't fun, but mostly just saw tornados and 23mls. The r13s are surprisingly good, kinda budget pl5s

i would recomend maybe going low and to the side, trying to stick with your team
