@@hondaresourcehello.2010 crv stops in my car, praise, such a sound comes from the auxiliary gearbox when changing gears, what do you think is the reason, why does this sound do you have an idea
I just added some Truhart coil overs to my 99 CRV, added a front upper camber kit (control arm), tie rods end reverse roll center adjustment, rear camber kit, rear control arm all from Truhart as well and I am having an issue getting the car aligned. what the shop told me was that the car front tires bow out as the suspension goes up and down causing it the tires to bow out and bump-steer. any idea how to correct this? they suggested I put back all original control arms to see how the car handles the drop which makes no sense since these parts add more adjustability, Truhart suggested raising the vehicle more. I am lost at this point! any suggestions?
Hey bro I have a 99 crv and I just took it all around town trying to get it fixed, my radiator started leaking after a trip to Ocotillo, must have cracked I'm assuming, just wanted some advice
Man I really love your videos. I have a huge question. I recently purchased a 2001 Honda CRV EX with AWD that was mentioned to have a bad transmission. I picked it up and had to jump-start it. However, when I attempt to put it into any gear, nothing happens - no jump, no grind, but the selector goes into all gears smoothly. It's currently dark, so I can't check much. Is there anything specific I should inspect, and based on the symptoms, any idea what might be wrong with it? Appreciate your help!
@@hondaresource So Im still waiting on my transmission to come in I got home from work figure I would play with the CRV alittle I checked both sets of solenoids and they checked out good. I also checked the range switch and it also is working. I put it into reverse and got it to back up 15 feet no bad sound no grind stopped put it into drive nothing put back into reverse nothing. its very odd to me
can you give me a estimate on a timing belt and water pump installation. my timing belt is still working. just piece of mind. thank you it's a 1998 honda crv
@hondaresource I have an rd1 with the air intake box thing, ( the one between the valve cover and firewall) I have fitted an aftermarket intake and I want to remove the silver metal box the intake goes into. I think it's really quite ugly in the engine bay. Does you or anyone know what the function on this box is and if removing it would effect the power?
@@hondaresource ok, probably best to leave it there then!? 😅 It's the least of my worries anyway! Car feels like it's sluggish on power when engine has warmed up. Hoping a transmission fluid change will help. If not then check the brakes! 🤞
Excellent clearance at the front, but dropped too low at the rear☝️ And the rear right wheel has too much camber compared to the left one🤔It looks like this in the video
@@hondaresource Philip I’m having problems with my 99 crv it quits whenever it wants to, looking UA-cam they say it’s probably my ignition switch and wire harness
Its crazy how a crv can look so good either lifted or lowered 🔥
Thank you

Does it have better handling ready for the track? Do you recommend a strut tower bar?
The handling is very nice. I don't really think it needs a strut bar at this point
Good stuff!
What engine or engine mods do you have in that thing? Sounds sweet.
On the green one? It was completely stock
@@hondaresource No aftermarket headers or muffler? My stock 2001 RD1 doesn’t sound anything like that. Wish it did.
@@bdeheton6445 it was all stock here
i have a 2001 crv with bed and table.i think it is the sport model .i believe it has a rear and front sway bar is this possible

Definitely a possibility

Auto or manual?
@@hondaresource auto the gear selector goes into all gears great but transmission never does
3 possibilities. 1) cable isnt properly connected (unlikely)
2) no fluid in trans
3) trans is toast
@@hondaresource I appreciate the feedback let’s hope for the first two lol I did order a fwd trans already from hmo to get it back on the road for now

I just changed my ball joins and it I keep getting a crooked wheel any ideas
What kind of question is that... lol looks possibly but it's git function in lowering it... center gravity
No need to swap out rear toe arms for adjustable ones to correct the toe after being lowered ?
No. The factory has enough adjustment

It's an air intake plenum, it helps with torque.

Can you make a new video to lower the crv with a product that has some actual customer support and product availability
The customer service at maxspeedingrods is too slow

I might make some adjustments before alignment then finalize everything at alignment
Philip you don’t do your own alignment?
Nope. I just take it and have it done
