This hits hard I was 20 when my father passed away from cancer. His last words were to me saying I love you then he went to a coma-like state for a week. Then he passed away February 9 2017 at the age 51 😢 I miss him so much ❤️
I'm so sorry about your loss. Thank you for sharing your story. It would be nice if you could mention his name too please. I'm sure many would feel the need to send prayers for him. My mom currently is battling with breast cancer too so I could totally feel how hard it must be for you and your family in such times.
@@TRYBALS His name was Dale Lynn Huffman Jr. he was an amazing father. He always put his family first and loved us so much. He taught us the love of The Lord and how to treat people with kindness also to love them no matter what. He worked incredibly hard to give us whatever we wanted. He lead many people to Christ just by being himself and loving them no matter what. His saying was remember I love you but Jesus loves you more. I can go on about him but in summery he was just an amazing guy and a goofball he just loved to make people laugh. I'm so sorry that you and your family are going through that you all will be in my prayers. It is difficult but it's been 6 years it gets a little better that's what he would have wanted 😊❤️
@@jarahhuffman4098 I was smiling while reading about your dad. I'm sure he must be very loving and proud of his children. All of those qualities remind me of my on father who is 68 now. Like your dad he always puts family first and made sure his children had good education and ethics. He really never focused on religion that much but still taught us that each human being is equal regardless of everything and that we should respect others. I respect you for your religious opinions and the things you were taught, despite being less religious myself I have found this great song about Jesus that I love listening to: it's titled as "Reckless Love" and had many versions but each one of those hit deep inside both lyrically and musically. If you are interested, do check out Bella Ramsey's raw version on UA-cam before she became a star. That one is my favorite. Stay safe, healthy and blessed my friend 🤗❤️🌹
Thank you for bringing cultures together in a simple way as music but what many don’t realize is that one simple action always has a large reaction. Help make this world better and you are helping my brother. Thank you
When Iam Tongi sings his sorrow, he gives voice to our sorrows as well. He gives his voice to our sorrow as well as to his own, and our tears are from grief and thankfulness. Before there can be a profound loss, there must have been a profound love. His voice echoes the beauty of that love, and holds it along side of the sorrow so that the two can be recognized and honored together.
I lost my dad to cancer, watched him battle the disease for over a year. I was there when he left the earth for heavens gates. I’m now battling cancer myself. Seeing him fight has given me the strength to stay in the fight and I’ll get through this for him. Love you dad. I’ll see you again.
Ive watched this audition and the music video for the song so many times and i still cry my eyes out every single time. But seeing other grown men from another country, langauge and culture shed their tears aswell made me cry even more. We're all human, we all love, we all hurt. Never take the people in your life for granted especially your parents. Very humbling and beautiful. Thank you for the video sir.
EXACTLY, we may be from very different places and communicate in different languages, but, as you say we all feel, and this song smacks you straight in the heart every time, beautiful video.
I have to say again: I love this series. I always feel so delighted to see our regular tribal people, and to listen to their points of view. Every video I watch shows me the beautiful humanity we share within us all. I have gained fathers, brothers, sisters, uncles and grandfathers, mentors and been gifted the beauty within another culture.
I love these men. Every time. Their self-reflection, empathy, wisdom, and love for their fellow man ... is priceless. And a firm example to the young who have lost their way. Many blessings. Still crying from this video. I love humanity.
Such lovely people. It is a balm to my heart to see the universality of loss really does not hold to national, cultural or language barriers.. it elevates the listener out of that superficial crap into their heart. We need more of that. Such a lovely pure soul in that young man.
For me, this song is about a moment when the son becomes the caregiver and protector for the man who has cared and protected him. Those few, final precious moments together. A time for forgiveness and peace.
That was simply beautiful, especially only two days after Father's Day. I miss my father every day, even thought he's been dead for 25 years. I spent a lot of time with him in his last years and I'll never regret it.
I tried my bests to upload it two days ago, but this took awhile. The next video in which they review James Blunt's duet with Iam Tongi is gonna get more emotional specially for Mohammad Riaz. I can tell how he misses his father over such songs. Check out Default's The memory will never die if you get the chance. No matter how many number of years get passed, somethings feel as if it was just yesterday.
I just lost my dad in June, and I couldn't be with him, I didn't get to say goodbye. Although I'm a woman this song really speaks to my heart. My pain is hard, but knowing others feel it with me, and understand it, does help with the grief. ❤ Thank you.
Watching your channel always give me hope for all humanity. Just know there is love going out to you from this American son. Thank you for this song, I lost my father 3 years ago and it still hurts like it was yesterday.
I am so happy I found your channel. And thank you for printing your guests remarks in English. I do believe our cultures have so many things in common. All of us need to experience how music connects our souls and makes us feel love, happiness, and sadness. Reminds us that we are all human and feelings don't require translation.
I was hoping you guys would react to this! What I love most about this channel is how it shows that despite how wonderfully unique every culture is, we all share the same capacity to love and feel deeply. Absolutely beautiful
Wow Tribal People, you have celebrated and cried along with us, and thank you so much for your communication and explanations, so much more than a song here! I love you guys! #iamtongi #tribalpeopletry

Wow! My mother wanted me to sing at her funeral. I couldn’t do it. My emotions were too raw. My parents were married 50 years. Watching my dad grieve was so very hard for me too. Thank you for freely showing your own human emotion. Our souls all come from the same creator and we are created in His image. Therefore he understands our broken hearts and provide us comfort.
Of all the men on the show, Muhammad Riaz Jutt reminded me the most of my father. Then to see him break down and crying multiple times made me miss my dad, plus it made this episode even more powerful to watch! Thank you for sharing!
I find it amazing that all the emotions transferred perfectly despite different languages. I think this proves humans are closer together than we ever thought; that even without language we can share stories and emotions as if we're speaking the same language.
And for h8s daughters. My Dad was my best friend. ❤ I lost my father to Alzheimers a few years ago. He was 87. I called him every week after my mother passed, for about 20 years, and I was able to visit him once in his home and once in a care facility. He passed a couple months later. I miss him every day. ❤
Love everything you present to us in your vids. My favorite is when Abdul is responding to your questions. He has some of the deepest insights when answering your questions. His ability to accept and learn and apply what has been offered is something every human needs to learn to do. Much peace would follow... Thanks again. I miss my dad too.
It would be nice since they have seen James and now Tongi sing Monster that they could actually see the translations as they sing.. Its the words that are so touching also.
“Some things have the same value across all cultures and religions” my friend AMEN. If only we could get others in the world to accept this statement and really contemplate things. Once you realize someone you hate is also HUMAN, with there own feelings, thoughts and emotions, you plant a seed of empathy that could be a forest of peace.
I think some parents were hurtful to their children and that is hard to love or even respect someone like that no matter how close the relationship. I had one of each. I try to remember any good times we had and press on. Forgiveness was given long ago. Sometimes we are the ones that came to teach them love. I am so grateful for the father I had as he was the one who taught me all things and to forgive and to love. ❤
Lionel Ritchie is one of my favorite artists of all time. His music from the 70's, still with the Commodores, like "Sail On", and "Still", are exceptional, in my opinion. Sad that to be in the music industry, they have to sell their souls. Best to just do your own thing...
Authenticity and love transcends language and cultures for it taps the deepest part of our humanity, a window into our own soul. Thank you for posting this, for it eloquently points to our common experience of the sacred unfettered love between father and son.
Iam stirred empathy for his grief around the world. Great loss is a powerful, universal experience. The loss of a parent is like nothing else. I had my parents much longer than Iam had his father, but I miss my father and my mother so much. ...but I will see them again. It's one of the things that actually gives me comfort in being across the halfway point in my age.
I’m an American who respected my parents through their death. I considered it an honor to assist them through their senior years. Fortunately I was able to move in with my Dad when he was 88 years old. He was independent, cooked, cleaned and worked on his Farm until 2 months before his death at 96. The wisdom I gleaned from him will always be with me. I miss both my parents very much, and cannot imagine IAM loosing his father at such a young age. It’s obvious he deeply loved and respected this man, and in turn, will be an amazing person and someone to look up to for our youth.
It warms my heart to see how open and excepting these people are in the comments section ✊🏽❤️ I’ve watched so many reactions but this by far has got to be my favorite! With love and respect for me to all of you ❤️
This is just wonderful, fascinating. First of all the absolute love to detail when putting every guest into context, then the questions and the knowledge and points of view every guest gives about the questions and the situations shown in the video. And ultimately, the quality of the videos you always choose. Thank you!
I had the honor of being with both parents on their last moments. So many do not get to say goodbye. I told my parents I would be OK they could go. I saw the peace in them. I knew they would suffer no more. I have held their love and lessons close. Some of us love and cherish our parents.
You have a misunderstanding about how Americans feel about their parents. We love them as deeply as the rest of the world. When my father died in 2019 from a terrible illness that lasted months, all 6 children were at his bedside when he passed on, all of us touching him and telling him we loved him and that we knew it was a long hard and painful road he had been on and that it was okay for him to go to a better place in heaven. He died with peace on his face and we were blessed to be with him.
I assumed that this was the entire point of this younger man exposing the older generation to this material 🤔 I've never watched this channel or content but that was my guess for the entire point, to change incorrect assumptions. My greatest respect for such an endeavor 🙏
I don’t think they are misunderstanding I think they are putting emphasis on the sadness they feel for Iam losing his father. I’m truly sorry for your loss and your family is in my prayers. I believe the love of family is deep in all cultures.
Referring to the comment on Westerners not caring about or respecting their parents, as an American, I can say that the loss of my parents devastated me for years. They were my anchor in the world, and suddenly, that was gone. Time has healed the wound, but they will always be in my heart.
Wow, what a courageous young man, and what a strength of heart with it. Coming from Hawaii, it's clear that these folks know of the balance in heart and mind, for sure. Beautiful!
As Lionel Richie prophesied, "take your song into the world, your going to fracture souls." Such is of God to bring together such beautiful interviews from tribal cultures for whom Iam's delivery of this song touched their hearts, as well❤ You cannot be so right on to be showing video of Iam's song and interviews from around the world. Please continue, this is the best use of connecting the world, One Love! We ARE the world! Let's be better stewards of God's people, with Grace, Love and Mercy! Peace!
I had to gather myself after that. I lost my dad a few years ago & I still cry for him every morning. Especially now taking care of my mom. I took care of my dad while he was transitioning. I would lay with him. And I was the morning he passed. I told him I was going to let the dogs out & he passed when I left the room. We didn’t get to say goodbye then. But we did say goodbye in our way. I will always remember him saying “you were my warrior, you always fought for me, I love you” I always fought for him, even with nurses & drs. I wanted him to be as comfortable as could be. He was terrified to die. So chasing the monsters away hits hard. I enjoy watching your channel. Bless you .
Finding you on UA-cam is one of the most memorable experiences you can have. The way you all sit there and share it with us is a gift. No, a blessing. You are shining candles in a dark time. I am not a believer, but may your God hold his protective hand over you and your families
This made me tear up. Sadly, my own father was the "monster" that I feared for years. We finally made our peace in the last decade or so that he was alive. This has made me strive to be a great father for my daughter.
I feel for him. I lost my dad when I was 22. He told me he was proud of me before the cancer took him. And his last words were of love, because he told me to watch the air pressure in the front tire on the car. Because for him to worry about us was love. ❤
Honest emotion crosses all cultural boundaries. It is moving to see these leaders acknowledge the same emotions we all felt and Iam's talent to convey it so beautifully. It would have been interesting to hear more about their fathers and their relationships.
I haven't been to this site in a while and I like all the changes you made. I did miss the wisdom which these three tribals express. Iam's song and the way he delivered it was perfect, and to see how it affected you in your country being the same as in our country speaks to the brotherhood of humans.
I always look for your panel's reaction to music and other videos! Thanks for sharing your views with us and giving the world a personal look at your culture and their opinions. I feel like I know each and every one of you personally :)
It's amazing how you look at this world with an open mind inorder to understand and learn about other cultures and the end we all possess the same aspects of life regardless of your background and where you from 💙 my favourite reaction to Iam Tongi audition 🤙

I don’t think they are misunderstanding I think they are putting emphasis on the sadness they feel for Iam losing his father. I’m truly sorry for your loss and your family is in my prayers. I believe the love of family is deep in all cultures.
Nah most Americans don’t respect their parents mainly other white and black community
Anyone who has lost a parent might feel like they're the only one to grieve so deeply that no one else can understand.
Bless you .
Aloha from Hawaii. Iam has become Hawaii's new Ambassador of Aloha, and we are all so Humbley Proud of Him. I Truly Love your Reaction Video.
Thank you for this program. It brings the world closer together and we learn from each other.
18:20 Amen. Such a great way to describe the loss of a father. I miss mine, for sure.
the way you explain his story and american idol makes it sound like a fable i love it
Finding you on UA-cam is one of the most memorable experiences you can have.
I love your channel. Great guys talking about great music. ❤
I feel for him. I lost my dad when I was 22. He told me he was proud of me before the cancer took him. And his last words were of love, because he told me to watch the air pressure in the front tire on the car. Because for him to worry about us was love. ❤
Thank you for doing this. Shows how small the world really is
Honest emotion crosses all cultural boundaries.
