So I actually have the same build just waiting for both front gears to come in, my axels are pretty bad angle but I have a 2” bracket lift on it also was thinking on taking it off to help the axel angle, you think It would help the angle by taking the 2” bracket lift off ?
You need custom back plates and have to swap some gears around. Really not worth it because the frame tabs can barely handle 6-in portals even with reinforcements

Doind my gen2 renegade rn and i have the same gap in between the stock axle and the portals gear boxes on all 4 any feed back id appreciate it so much brother
Honda front cv axles suck. How do u keep from breaking them with gear reductions? My rubicon 500 keeps breaking front ones with no gear reduction on 30s. Makes no sense to put more torque to them when they cant even handle 25hp.
B E don’t use it in reverse. Idk how you are breaking them with 30s with no gr but just don’t use diff lock in reverse. I ran 35s and didn’t have a issue with axles. Throttle control is a very good thing that most people don’t have. Yea

Throttle control. Don’t use diff lock while turning in reverse when they are under stress. Put demons in the front
@@parkermckowen3781 was only locked in 3 wheel drive. Backing up on hard packed ground. Wasnt even full lock on steering
