Still got this v8? I have a 2010 s80 with same engine. Getting a lot of oil leaking. VCGs definitely need to be replaced but wondering if you experienced any other repairs like timing cover, alternator, etc. thanks!

Yes! The car had lean codes before, and this was the reason the car was running lean!

Does This have anythingbto do with the gas tank no being able to be filled at the pump due to gas raising at the neck?
It could be a possibility or you could have a clogged vent valve.
Your evap canister needs to be replaced. I grabbed one from the junkyard and have had no issues filling the tank. Many Volvos share the same canister.

What is symptoms or engine code when it is going to be wrong?
A bad purge valve solenoid can cause a rough idle and poor engine performance. You would definitely have a check engine light. Ours had the p0442.

You may need to change your evap canister! It's a common problem with volvos.
Is it located in the same place for the 3.2 V6 ?
