surprised you haven't made any comments on the crazy crackdown from the OPP on any modified car in Ontario, especially since your living in Wasaga area with the whole H20 fiasco. Ontario car scene is struggling big time right now and you cant really see it from your backyard, it sucks.
There is a crack down in every town, every province and state, there is always something happening to the scene and there's nothing I can say that will change that. It sucks but its the truth. I get pulled over more then I would like in my own cars, and I rarely get charged with anything. I believe it all comes down to not driving like a dickhead, and being respectful to the guys who are just doing their job... I actually got pulled over DURING H20 (I wasn't participating I was going to the store on Thursday night and I didn't realize they had already started doing stuff, I figured it started Friday) If you follow on IG you saw that though.
BC, specifically the lower mainland has it way worse then us, when they get pulled over with a modified car it needs their version of a safety. Period, modified anything, put it back to stock and go get a safety before its allowed back on the road. it destroyed their scene because people can't afford to go back and forth and pay the tickets and keep up with all the BS. Just enjoy what you have while you can, the shitty thing is what we do just isn't legal in reality LOL

For the center of the wheel, do the CC logo on a piece of aluminum. I think that'd look sick. Literally, you just need a circle of metal and an engraver.
Robbie good video. Me as a keyboard warrior that doesn’t own your car but several Zs would recommend you follow some Z pages. The aftermarket is so deep and my opinion some of the best steering wheels I’ve had comes from companies that post there.

DND sells a 12mm adapter/spacer that will probably space that out enough to clear for a horn button.
Yup, the adapter is a necessity with the short hub. I have it on my 300

Or even easier, a concentric spacer/adapter to increase the gap between the steering and steering shaft, so that the horn button can be installed.
Literally a 10 minute job.

NRG makes horn delete plates to cover it up, it just uses the screws that holds the wheel onto the hub, DND makes some also and they're cheaper than the NRG ones

But I wanted to say thanks because of you I decided to start my own UA-cam channel and was able to make a decent amount of money from it to put towards my G35 savings account. If i had never watched your channel I might not even have a channel in the first place. I have watched you since I started 6th grade and now I am in High-school,I knew I was not an official OG, but I remember all of the Cactus plants you owned, all three of em 😂. I got an old 280zx front bumper badge and used a washer and a socket to make a removalable cover for the steering wheel. I glued the washer to the socket, glued the badge to the washer then put a piece of electric tape on the column nut and slid the socket onto it.

Nice video, I recently put my likewise ghost and Suzuka extension in my Rhd TT 300zx. It was cool to see another 300 with the new ghost shifter. Keep up the Z content
You should definitely invest in a full led conversion for the truck. I got the full led conversion kit from Lasfit and they completely improved night driving after I couldn’t see well evacuating a hurricane.
Make a cover from a sheet of metal with the hole pattern of the wheel, paint it black and stick the Z logo from the stock logo on the new one(the center cover). :D
Use the old z badge from the other wheel and try get that to cover the hole
Loads of places make blanks for horn buttons so just have a look around for a design that you like and to get the horn to work you could always use an exterior horn button, like a little red button above one of the spokes of the steering wheel. It would look like a nos button out of F&F but at least you'd have a functional horn 😊

You can easily modify your oem shifter into a short shifter with zero cutting or welding. Makes shifter feel better. Look better and shift so quickly/crisply. Def worth the work. Olllld ass video how to on my channel if you wanna see process. P.s. i dont make vidz. Just a couple how to's

When I changed my steering wheel in my 94 jag I used the spare hub cap as the center peace in the steering wheel
For the horn you can hot wire a red button on to the side of the wheel like some sort of nos button just for the horn
It’s sad we don’t get much 300zx content, only car on the channel I like

On my s13 I decided to keep the stock wheel, looks soooooo clean with oem, to clean it up I’ll carbon fiber it so it would look waaaay better, and I’ll add more carbon fiber interior pieces

Try using a black and white nissan wheel center cap it should fit depending on how big the horn hole on the steering wheel is

@@markjohnson9458 no it’s Canadian. Canada and Euro Spec Zs were different than US spec. USDM Zs didn’t get many cool options like power folding mirrors, headlight sprayers, smooth headlights etc that JDM and Euro Zs got

I have the thiccboy likewise knob and it literally transformed how the lexus is xe2 manual feels like. The weight is unreal
Facts I have that Thiccboy in the BRZ!
Use a center cap from a wheel, maybe order one for the wheels you got on the z if the diameter is the same size, if not measure it and shop around for one that will work, even if its just a blank one
Make the horn cover with PLA with the Z logo and paint it to match the shift knob
I glued mine to the steering wheel. It’s not that bad.
Maybe try a centre hub cap thingy. Could even have a Z one

For leaky t top seals apply this Honda silicone grease there’s a video on the tube it helps swell the seals up and keep it from leaking as much cheaper than the 400$ reseal kit lol

Get NRG makes lot of horn delete stuff, but I think it really only works with their wheels
My friend who own a Z uses a semi bucket seat and he wrapped it oem interior skin..shit looks damn nice ..

Hey Robbie measure the diameter of the hole in the steering wheel and buy a electrical box knockout plate that is the correct diameter and bend the tabs and it should snap into place, you could also paint it black to match
@9:32 the chevy in the back is the same as mine. Go recommend the Ranch Hand brush guard to him for me please. Tell em to get the one that retains bumper sensors and tow hooks and he will love it. Thanks btw nice knob bro

When you figure out the speedometer thing make a video. Mines struggling right now. Speed sensor works, and it will come to life every once in a while, but it is not consistent.

Buy a raised horn and remove the diaphragm you may lose horn features but it will look clean
Couldn’t you make a 1/2 inch spacer plate that goes between the steering and the hub to give you the space needed for the horn button.
Just out of curiosity, see if a rim centre cap fits the steering wheel, might be something different to see
