If you haven't seen the last episode, here's the link ( • My 240SX Project Has B... ). I dove into what's happened with the 240SX project. It was a long time coming, but I wanted to shed some light on the successes and difficulties I've had with this car since I haven't put any content out on it in a long time. I try to keep everyone updated on my social media platforms (see below), but I still get a ton of UA-cam comments asking for updates and estimates on when they can expect the next video. I bit off way more than I could chew with this car. It's gone far above what I thought it would be. I am thankful for what I've been able to learn in the process, but with everything else that's been going on, it was stressing me out more than anything. The best way to avoid getting burned out on something like this is to just walk away for a while. For me, that meant no more videos until I was at a comfortable point to resume. That being said, a lot has been done over the last 8 months or so and I'm finally ready to test fire it for the first time. Thanks so much for the support!

I found this channel from ChrisFix a few days ago; I binged-watched the whole series. I am sorry you had so many problems in the background; love it if you would share even verbally how you did the booster delete, cleaned up that engine even more, etc. I was stunned when you swapped out that transmission, the fit you had with the other one looked perfect. I get it, "in for a penny, in for a pound". Great job getting it together, hope you are still friends with all those who have helped you and kudos to your wife of course. Hope to see more of this car. It would be kinda funny to see that car driving around with door dings, old paint and the tape on the trunk lid with probably the cleanest, tightest underside in the history of 240s.

I came to this channel when ChrisFix did a 5 lug conversion which was 2,5 years ago and I have watched this car transform a lot. So happy that this car finally runs! History was made today!!

At 6:50 you can see it from the front of the car that the engine is slightly slanted to the right. Because this RB engine was designed for RHD cars, so the slant leave the space on the right side (right driver side, or left if look it from the front) to install brake booster, steering etc. Now he will facing the problem on how to put that parts on that tight space without being affected by the heat from the turbo.

Worth the Wait
That's awesome, I nearly purchased the last body style of this car but I needed front wheel drive for Upstate NY winters.
This is better than any Ferrari or Porsche out there because it's so attainable!
You need FWD for winters? Here in Sweden we put weights in the back of our RWD old Volvos and send it! 🤣
Might be a difference in winter tyres though.

Hey Kyle I have a suggestion for your jimmy build before you wrap it up. You should install a lift kit and put custom 4x4 rims on it. Install a snorkel, Install a diff locker install a LED light bar, and install a custom welded off road bumper

man what a strong sound, reminds me of my own engine...
I did this years ago but had used factory ECU with factory engine harness. It didn't start because all 6 injectors were bad...so had to wait a few days till new ones came in.
Sadly no longer have that car.

You should put those core support brackets under the core support. Drill and tap the bracket then use button head bolts
You should do a review on your 2015 gmc durmax, your wifes new jeep, and do a car review on a RV

Kyle. I hope you've put spacers in between the cas and its mounting bracket to simulate the front cover, otherwise the spacing will be off and it will grind into the cas.

RB's are a pain to bleed the coolant systems. Next time jack the front of the car really high and it will bleed through a lot quicker.
