    Ingredients:
    1 cup black lentils (whole urad dal), soaked overnight
    1/2 cup red kidney beans (rajma), soaked overnight
    2 tbsp ghee or oil
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    2 tomatoes, finely chopped
    1 tbsp ginger paste
    1 tbsp garlic paste
    1 tsp turmeric powder
    1 tsp garam masala
    1 tsp red chili powder
    1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
    1/4 cup cream
    Salt to taste
    Instructions:
    Drain the soaked lentils and kidney beans and rinse them well.
    In a pressure cooker, add the lentils and beans with enough water to cover them completely. Cook for about 10-12 whistles or until they are soft and fully cooked.
    In a separate pan, heat ghee or oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
    Add ginger paste and garlic paste and cook for a minute.
    Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and oil starts to separate.
    Add turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and kasuri methi. Mix well and cook for another minute.
    Add the cooked lentils and beans to the pan along with their cooking water. Mix well and cook for another 10-15 minutes until the dal thickens.
    Add cream and mix well. Cook for another minute.
    Serve hot with rice or naan.
