Nicest and smartest celebrity I ever met (Gore Vidal may have been smarter but definitely not nicer). Not here to namedrop, I'm just reminded that I met Gore and Paul at the same bookstore in La Jolla.
I know someone who said he was disappointingly aloof to them and their coworkers, but it was a different, busier retail environment and I'm almost standoffish in, like, a grocery store if someone I don't know wants to get personal and draw attention. It's got to be weird getting recognized and have all these expectations put on you. The real test of character is how people behave when one isn't aware of other's noticing them.
the holdovers is a great movie for the whole family! the acting is superb and there are a few swear words but that's reality, no? we all bloody swear!
