Jokoy had 10 days to prepare while previous hosts had several months, like half a year. It was also his first time hosting. If you were in Jokoy’s shoes, your anxiety would be through the roof.

Its ok . There’s a little bit of misalignment between Jokoy and the audience appreciation of jokes. It’s ok , if they clap less doesn’t mean auidience has no sense of humor. Sometimes its not the kind of jokes theyre used to hear . Its all fine. Taylor ‘s reaction is not that bad . After all her fame , she is still a woman who is sensitive and wants to maintain some privacy . Let us not overreact . Nobody’s perfect Jokoy and TS are just human beings . We appreciate both of them , of what they do , providing us music and laughter.

@@travelw.b12oo3It would've made more sense if he wrote all of his own jokes with that experience of locking himself in a room for a week but instead, he relied on others(which is almost always a recipe for failure)taking the easy and unfunny route with probably loser writers who had to strike because they think they are better than they are. If the writers were worth more they would be paid more, but nowadays almost every writer tends to be lazy and uncreative, only making reboots and remakes which is why the companies think they're replaceable. It's also on the companies who rely on big IPs like Star Wars and the Marvel movies instead of giving good writers a chance with lower-budget indie movies.

But on ten days notice, he did the job with the class and positivity he has brought to all of his performances. I am proud to be a fan of his. Really surprised he got the call to be honest, and he went all 12 rounds. Hope he earned a good check. A solid night's work. God bless him.

You’d think someone who is a professional standup comedian, who’s been doing it for 20 years, would have prepared ahead even if it is just 10 days.
I feel like I would have met with the writers and grinded in those 10 days to come up with some easy and safe one liners.
Or at the very least, asked the writers to send me their jokes so I could review them before showtime.

To be fair Jo Koy got a mixed response, some celebrities i noticed were smiling and laughing at Jo Koy and some celebrities i read they buried their faces in thier hands, so i also feel bad for Jo Koy, as he is right to blame on the writers, he only got like 10 days, while the previous hosts got several months to prep so they did Jo Koy dirty

Ricky gervais was way more offensive. They laugh because if they dont he will say more. jo koy was very new to hosting. And knew how this was big for him, obviously he would stay humble and quiet if he gets roasted on soc med.
