Insanely talented guy. No matter how “bad” the project is as he says and feels, he does an amazing job. He fits in every character! My favorite actor ever.
Paul Giamatti is one of my favorite american actors - he made me laugh so much in his funny movies and he did impress me in all his many good other movies. There are not many actors from Hollyweird that I would like to meet and talk to - but you, Sir - are a real and true Exeption. Thank you Sir.
Amazing actor. Loved him since seeing him “Sideways”, where he was incredible. More recently have been enjoying his talents in “Billions”. A masterclass in acting, he has such command and presence.
Such a great job guys. Paul brings such amazing characters to life. No matter what situation they are in, he finds a way to bring you in, care for his characters. They are endearing. In his latest character, I want him to succeed. I want him to stay above the corruption. I see him trying, but failing, then trying again. Such a great performer.
I would have definitely loved to see Paul speaking Russian as the Rhino. I love that he's honest about productions that were not the best and why. He's been in way more good things, however, and always been the best part of everything he's in. Billions is definitely my favorite thing he's been in recently. His acting + Sorkin's scripts = screen magic. The show overall is so well written and acted. It's one of my favorites. EDIT: This interview was made before Paul started drawing again while in quarantine. It's hard to hear him be so down on himself and his abilities here, because he's really very good!
I LOVE THIS DUDE. what an actor! so damn good!! hes so damn talented he is next level in billions! and then i started watching his movies and hes great
Great interview and Q&A. Paul Giamatti is probably my favorite actor. I've seen the movie adaptation of Rhinoceros and I think he would be amazing in that role, which in the film, was played by Zero Mostel.
i remember this lovely guy from the movie "the negotiator". deff saw some before n after, n loved it. whish to see him acting in hamlet :) thanks to all for the "interview", every day u learn smth new is a good day.

his voice is sooo sexy! can't believe he does not think voice is great. granted, he hears his voice differently than we do, but he sees his movies at least at the premier so he should know how amazing his voice is!
I like their discussion on how we (audience) like darkness in characters. like why does everyone love the sith and Darth Vader? it represents our dark side or our hate, and also passion Color red represents passion (rose) and Darth Maul is completely red... Almost shows that if we follow our feelings to closely, the emotions will consume us. The Jedi warn Padawan about this... and most Jedi stay "single" because of this. Passion can be destructive. and as an audience we love this in sports, movies, books... it's very visceral and engaging

Paul Giamatti was soo good in AMERICAN SPLENDOR. He didn't look like Harvey Pekar, and yet he *became* Harvey Pekar.
With actors...it's in the eyes...watch the eyes...Paul has amazing eyes 😨
His dad, Bart Giammatti, was president of Yale University, president of the National Baseball League and MLB Commissioner.
