      Yes, the Sniper 2 uses the exact same injectors as the original Sniper, but with a much better connector for them.

    If running a flex fuel sensor and using e85. How much hp will the stock 100lbs injectors support?

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  Рік тому +1

      For a 4 injector Sniper with 100 lb/hr injectors on E85, you could support 450-500 HP with boost and 550-600 HP naturally aspirated. 8 injector Sniper is basically double that. Snipers can't read flex fuel sensors, but Terminator X can. Power numbers are the same for Sniper and Terminator X Stealth.

    Is there any information as to why the Terminator Stealth with 8 100lb injector is rated at the same 650 NA HP as the 4 injector model, but 1250hp under boost? Like part number 550-1006.

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  Рік тому

      The 4150 EFI units are rated by air flow for naturally aspirated use. 650-700 HP is about all you are going to get to flow through them air wise. When using boost of some sort you can force more air through the throttle body than the engine can just pull through on it's own.

    I have the Sniper EFI on a Chevy 454HO Crate motor. There is a very annoying and loud clicking from the stock injectors that make the engine sound like shit when it is idling. Are your 120 lbs injectors any quieter than the stock Holley 100 lbs injectors? Thanks, Jack

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  Рік тому

      Hey Jack, the loose connector can be an intermittent issue for sure. A zip-tie or heat shrink tubing could be the solution, but we have plenty of injectors if you finds that it is the injector itself.

    • @jackcrognale417
      @jackcrognale417 Рік тому

      @@efisystempro I didn't say I had a loose connector in my question. Are you implying that a loose connector will cause the loud clicking noise coming from the injectors? I was told that the clicking on the stock Holley Sniper injectors is normal. I was wondering if the 120 lbs injectors are any quiter. The engine runs great so I don't think I have a loose connector. Thanks, Jack

    So I can just buy the cheap-o Sniper, and throw in a set of 220lb/hr injectors (together with their flow data sheet ofc) for a higher hp boosted E85/meth application?? That's awesome

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  Рік тому

      Sort of. You can put those injectors in there and it will run fine. The non Super Sniper can only read 14 psi of boost, so you are limited by that. Super Snipers can read up to 21 psi with the internal MAP sensor, but they also have the ability to run a remote mounted MAP sensor for even more boost than that.

    Is there any power gain from swapping 100 to 120

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  Рік тому

      No, upgrading injectors does not make power. The only reason for the upgrade is if the original injectors can't flow enough fuel for the power the engine makes

    yea, the injectors install is super easy, but the problem is that for YEARS holley refused to sell/provide injectors for the sniper. They would sell them for the terminators, but when my injector locked up on my sniper last summer, holley would not get me a new injector, they only said I could send it in. They claimed that the injectors are a safety item and they can authorize a home repair of the unit. Insane. I had to find some used sniper injectors from a guy on the Holley forums. Has Holley now changed their policy and do they now sell actual sniper injectors? i sure hope so !

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  Рік тому +1

      Holley still will not sell replacement injectors. They do not want people opening their Snipers. We have 100% direct replacement injectors for sale at this link though. They are the ones used in the video. www.efisystempro.com/sniper-terminator-x-efi-injectors-522-101x

      @@efisystempro thank you for selling these! But Holley sells fuel Pumps, fuel fittings, other fuel injectors, fuel lines, etc… all
      Of that is what is confusing to me… why draw the line at not selling injectors specific for the sniper ? And they do give you a new regulator/screen if you ask for one and then you have to “open up the sniper”. I’m glad you guys sell them and if I ever need any , you will
      Be my first call. Back in 2020
      When I had a sniper injector lock up (racing at a two day autocross event) I became
      Baffled at how impossible it was to find a replacement injectior. Long story, long long story, but I’m good
      Now and hopefully won’t need any other injectors

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  Рік тому

      The regulator is much less invasive and much less chance for a problem. Many people don't understand the need to lube o-rings for installation, it is very easy to pinch one and create a leak. Aside from the regulator, Holley won't sell any parts that go inside a Sniper or Terminator X Stealth.

    Do any of you in the comments know if the super sniper with 4 injectors can be converted to an 8 injector? To reach the 1250hp rating. Thanks all.!

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  Рік тому

      The ECU does not have the capability to run 8 injectors when it started as a 4 injector system. You can run much higher flowing injectors though. We have 220 lb/hr injectors that drop right in for $88.15 each. That would get you even more fuel flow than you would get with 8x 100 lb/hr injectors.

    Hay Guys, bought a HyperSpark to compliment my Sniper from you guys a couple of years ago. I've watched a couple of 'experimental' videos of people downrating to smaller injectors EG 80lb which helped with over-fuelling and backsplash up into the air-cleaner (and reduced injector noise). One video appeared to show the increased pulse width of the lower lb injector led to a more granular tuning adjustment made by the ECU in the learned fuel table. Do you have any experience of having experimented with lower injectors, or could you pass comment on what if any effect this would have on longevity of the ECU's electronic drivers for the injectors.... For example, could lower injectors potentially put less load or strain on the Holley electronics? (Four barrel Sniper on 1969 351W)

    • @efisystempro
      @efisystempro  10 місяців тому +1

      Hi Rob, There really is no benefit to the ECU itself in downsizing the injectors. It is the same electrical load no matter the injector flow rate. The actual electrical parts are the same for all injectors that would fit in a Sniper with the only difference being the nozzle size. I have helped one customer downsize his injectors a year ago or so and while it works fine, it is pretty unnecessary unless you had a real small engine. If you have a V8 making 250 HP or more then there should be no need and if fuel is coming back up out of the throttle bores it sounds like there is a tuning issue or exhaust leak causing excess fuel flow.

    • @robpotts3278
      @robpotts3278 10 місяців тому

      @@efisystempro Thats brilliant thank you, and your absolutely right, the fuel thrown out the bores was due to over fuelling caused by a persistent exhaust leak (I kind of knew the answer to that already, but was interested in your take on it...). I had an intermittent injector which I just fixed (hopefully see how it holds) using the zip-tie trick, interestingly the thin and flexible copper wires (grey and white for rear driver’s side bore) are showing exposed copper between the rubber connector and wire sheathing. I'm really beginning to doubt the build quality of the Sniper MK1... Thanks again for your quick response to my questions.
