Lets be real... KS said it best and its true, women date up. There's nothing wrong with that. Women want financial security and physical security. Men have got to do better for themselves first. Now, if you wanna be a bus driver, there's nothing wrong with that but if you're a bus driver knowing you can be more and do more for yourself then thats a problem.
I'm a bus driver women in a busy city. I was offended but I understand she doesn't want a bus driver. But the career or skill set, pays a comfortable lives in a expensive city with a family.
There's different levels for everyone, same as the garbage man may not be every womans cup of tea as much as we appreciate the service. It may also depend on what you want in life...if you only companionship the any good guy can fit the bill, if you want to build a life together you may need someone better.
Having a “better” job doesn’t equate to being a partner, you know? She’s worried about the “status” of the job more than the person working it. A garbage man may not be a “respectable, high status” job BUT they make more than teachers, which are “respectable” jobs. Idk I think she was being shallow lol
@@TheAshleyTamara I don't really think it's as simple as status - the male ego is tied to ability the to provide. Even Iyanlas marriage did not survive because of this issue. Second, no one wants to downgrade their lifestyle, it will lead to resentment so better to get someone at your level.
If I had to do it all over again, I would not have spent so much time getting a doctorate degree. Yes, I’m making 6 figures, but if I became bus driver out of high school, I’d be retired at 38 with a 30, 000 dollars plus pension. 30,000 isn’t much in the states , but it goes very, very far in the global south. I’d find myself a 20 something year old traditional woman in Brazil, Africa or South east Asia, and have a family.
There will always be average people. Most men and women are average. In the USA, average women used to marry and date average men, keep in mind blue collar and white collar jobs on average pay the same. Women in the USA are highly status driven, meaning an established plumber could make 100,000 a year with no degree and she can be an average earning attorney making 73,000 dollars who’s 200,000 dollar in student loan debt. The attorney would see herself as better. Unfortunately, women in states are masculine and think men are attracted to a woman’s income, career or degree. This thinking among American born women will not change. This is why
@@TheAshleyTamara I'm so glad got married 30 years ago. Women today are slow when it's come to how to make a relationship work. And if I build a life without you what makes me want to share with you. I'll get a young woman

I wish she had said it like this 👌🏿
I get it. I agree, very well put! 👏🏾
Our community doesn’t have a money problem we have a spending problem. To many blk ppl in Nordstrom and not Walmart 😢😂😂
Act your wage lol
Omg 😂😂😂
I agree with you somewhat...plus I agree she came off very condescending.
She really did! And I think it was unnecessary lol

Yeah I feel like she was more worried about the “status” of the position more than anything else.

Or this
we are talking about dating. Dinner & a movie or dancing .... ya'll making it out to be marriage.
I mean, where she is in life I’m sure she’d be dating for marriage. So yeah, that would be the goal

Honestly I’m not sure how to take this
Wow. Women don't like men with trades. Wow. Take note brothers
Literally no one said that. Also a bus driver is not a trade lol
@@TheAshleyTamara CDL class b. is a trade. Women need to grow up. Life to hard to be arguing with your women because she watch to many Disney movies.

She didn't mean a "Bus Driver." Literally, she means an essential worker.
Well I think she implied essential workers, but literally referenced bus drivers lol
@The Ashley Tamara right, but the context of that was about being with a man who may make less than her or not a celebrity status as her..
i see a lot of bus driver jobs for 22 an hour and im sure you could make more. im about to make 21 an hour just delivering water filters
