I was blown away by this cooking tutorial! The attention to detail and research that went into the recipe was truly impressive. I usually fast forward through tutorials to get to the cooking part, but this one kept me captivated from start to finish. While I may not have access to wild garlic like in the video, I'm inspired to seek out something equally exotic for my next falafel dish. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise with us!
Maybe it is available in a grocery store at your place. In my country harvesting wild garlic is inhibited, therefore you can buy it in the supermarket. It is actually not that much different from the usual garlic, just milder. If you plant your only garlic (easy to make, just plant a usual garlic clove into the soil and place it at your window place), the leaves of the young garlic taste pretty similar to wild garlic. If you have a garden, the wild garlic wild spread like weeds.
Right! I enjoyed watching Muy Rico. How creative he was with Mexican food. Creating vegan versions of fantastic Mexican cuisine and still keeping the amazing yumminess, flavor that’s brilliant. Awesome recipe. I'm a Turkish vegan. We don't have falafel in Turkish cuisine, but I tried some this year in an Arab restaurant established by a Syrian immigrant family in Eskişehir. Their falafels tasted delicious. Turkish cuisine has something just as delicious though: Mercimek köftesi (red lentil & bulgur balls/kofta). Try it. You can easily find an English language recipe video for it.
@@thatsalt1560 Fine grained bulgur has to be used while making things like red lentil balls, fellah köftesi (Turkish gnocchi made with bulgur and potatoes), kısır (bulgur salad). Coarse bulgur is only used for bulgur pilaf and some soups such as purslane soup with bulgur and plain yogurt. There is also a "brown bulgur" of either type (fine or coarse). Brown bulgur is healthier, but regular bulgur tastes better in these dishes in my opinion.

Hi Gaz. Thank you very much for posting these beautiful recipes. I picked some wild garlic yesterday and I had a go at making these delicious looking falafels and aioli this morning. Both are in the fridge and the falafels waiting to be fried. I used cooked chickpeas and I added a couple of teaspoons of oil to bring it together as it would have been a little crumbly otherwise. Can I just confirm that you didn't cook the chickpeas in your recipe, and that they were just soaked overnight before using?

Lily of the valley for example and autumn crocus are known.
SO glad to have found U today Gaz! The way you put your videos and recipes 2gether are from the heart and make it all so homely and tangible and I really feel like I am there with U and the ginger girls, gazing at the green hills, foraging in the beauty full countryside and I am truly grate full to U as I watch which takes me away from where I am as I try and recover! Such a health boost for the soul and I thank U. What is the blender U use and could it help make a lot of soft food?
Such a gorgeous video! So relaxing 💚🌱
Thank you!
Gaz you are goals!! Well done, this looks bomb 🧆❤️🔥
WE NEED A FULL HOUse AND GARDEN TOUR (yes another garden tour)
Coming soon 😇
Thankyou for this beautiful episode of elegant food storytelling. Absolutely marvellous photo and editing and great production value in the enviroment. And thank you for the reminder. I will definitely pick wild garlic this spring. I had it in my garden, but now I moved to a city after 20 years of home steadying (I live in Sweden)
Oh my goodness I’m making these tomorrow, they look amazing 🙌 💕🧄
Hope you enjoy
As someone burnt out from working in the restaurant industry for decades, it's so relaxing and enjoyable to watch your videos, Gaz- your joy in making good food is contagious! I also appreciate your eye toward sustainability that seems to have grown over time. And gotta love Dad's mumbled "really good" response to your wild foraged masterpiece. 🤣 🤣
I had supper an hour ago but you have made me drool. Absolutely gorgeous….as usual. Thanks for so many wonderful recipes.
You are so welcome!
Yes, I used uncooked, just soaked, that’s the traditional way. Enjoy 😀
Woaw.. the quality of the video, your equipment, your beautiful dishes.. i'm in love! Your recipes are the best. Can't wait to try it, as I love falafels
Thank you!!!
So making this. Thanks so much for the beautiful videos. Praying for a beautiful, earth loving woman to enter your life. We manifest her for you. She will be a lucky woman living on your homestead. Big up to you for creating a life like that ❤️
I definitely do not miss going to culinary school at 5:30am 😂 your memory with the wild garlic gave me a little flashback lol
Just made these today from our own wild garlic. Came a little wet as I didn't dry the garlic leaves. Absolutely awesome dish of falafals. Need to make more as everyone is eating them . Thanks Gaz. Love the videos .
In love with your falafel 😍 … the addition of wild garlic is brilliant ! Also ASMR bath time kinda quality for me 😉
So good, I especially love that you found the garlic while foraging. Thanks for sharing your recipes! Recently switched to (mostly) vegan with the help of your vids!
Thank you for this magical recipe. I've got a lovely woodland dog walk five minutes away from me in Kent. At this time of year it's abundant with wild garlic. I had pesto and gorgeous salads with it last year, never thought of falafels! I've got that dip on the weekly menu too!
Hope you enjoy 🙏
I loved how slow this video felt - no rush, let's stay in the moment and enjoy every little detail ❤
Watching this while eating homemade wild garlic dip 😌 I also always make wild garlic butter and it's delicious 😍
Great minds 🙏
Love this! With tougher financial times, I’ve become interested in what wild plants have been overlooked for cooking.
wow thank you ! I love wild garlic so much and was also thinking about making it in a different way ! What a good one ! Wild garlic falafel 🙂 AND THE CREAMY SAUCE 😵💫🤩🤩🤩
Hope you enjoy ❤️
loving the new direction of vids Gaz. big up. away into the woods now.
I'm literally watching this while eating wild garlic Knödel (a type of German dumpling) made from my self-foraged "Bärlauch". Now I need to go back to the woods to make this recipe! Looks delicious! 🤤
this video is pure love and passion and brings me so much joy.
