I love the blue so much but it doesn't quite blend with my overall room aesthetics, so I've gone with black, which is still pretty cool.
A little tip for horizontal use (disc version): you don't actually need the front plastic stand, it looks pretty sweet when you remove it! 🤙🏻

I have the PS5 red cover plates but I want that controller in red so baddd :( I can't justify it though as I already have a purple one.

EB Games (Australia I assume?) will take controllers for trade in but I don't think they have a specific deal. They'd just give you the money or trade credit and then you'd put it towards the red controller - if they have it in stock
