In watching this I've learned something very valuable -- to use a finger to smudge and swirl paint when painting a cloud. It's little tricks like this can make an appreciable difference. I can't wait to try this painting! So happy that I discovered your channel yesterday morning as I was browsing for inspiration for a new painting. I honestly feel that your tutorials are going to make a difference in how my paintings turn out - they're genuine tutorials and not just a demonstration with a music track, Thank you for sharing your talent, tips, and time.

I always wanted to be an artist but due to the responsibilities of taking care of family, i was never able to become one. Now I'm a 25-year-old woman having a 9 to 5 job, mentally exhausted. Passion for art has made me feel guilty always for not being able to create something beautiful like this, for giving up and working in tech. I decided it's not too late. I bought a few art supplies and this was the first tutorial I started with. Thanks for such a beautifully explained tutorial and artwork. You not only explained how you do it but also why, so we could use the technique on our own. Thank you again.

Nothing I can think about off the top of my head. I think one problem I had was gauging the color on the pallet your were using. I can see better on the glass pallet that you used in other videos. But in retrospect, i had to make my own decisions about color so it would look right in person. I did take a screen shot of the reference in the beginning. I liked having a reference so I knew where you were going as you were explaining what comes next. I’m planning on starting another one of your tutorials today. I’ll let you know how it’s goes. I’m down here in south west Florida and my go is get out and paint plein air after I get a little more experience.

@@GebahiArtworks I have been watching several of your videos the last six weeks and can truly say I have gained knowledge from you. @@Megzamani you can have a limited palette and make mostly all the colors you want, that’s what I do! 98% of my paintings are done with 4-8 colors, plus white! Once you paint with limited colors you will be less confused about color choices and realize you didn’t really need the others!

I've been unhappy with my attempts at acrylics because the colors looked dull after they dried.. But an oil touch up might do the trick. Do you have any videos where you do that? If not that might be a good subject for a future video.

Why don’t you use a coat of liquid white first..

    • @GebahiArtworks

Good question, that’s a Bob Ross method! Use medium as you paint instead! With liquid white you won’t get very good darks!
