I'm in Los Angeles, CA. 74 and retired. Macan EV 4S will be last purchase. Not concerned about depreciation as not looking to sell/trade later. Figure Porsche has figured out software with Taycan
My wife and I have two ICE Macan S (2017 and 2022) models in Dubai. I've now ordered the Macan 4 Electric, a few months ago, and have spec'ed it to $105k, and it arrives by March 2025.
That one may be $105k, but it's due to some hefty options, including $4960 just for a wheel/tire option. I ordered mine very nicely equipped for under $94k.
reviewing these cars must be difficult because damn near everything in car is optional. it's weird cuz even at the highest level, it doesn't "come with" much more than the lowest, everything is optional. i think the turbo only gets included paint options (side blade) over any other version. The 4 isn't the base/cheapest either, the base is RWD drive model. But either way...thank you. Can't wait to get one!!
I ordered the “turbo” in oak green it’s getting there on the 23rd I’m looking forward to see it in person. Hopefully I won’t get disappointed especially for the MSRP it runs for. They just released the official range 288miles a little low to me. The base model is 308. It’s rough when you see The EQE SUV from Mercedes going for $569/mo…Why do you guys think?
I believe Porsche to be higher than Mercedes as a brand is my personal opinion. Porsche is a bit more sport. Mercedes is more luxury. I believe you will like but don’t overextend yourself.

@@VagabondBuilds It’ll be interesting to see if that catches on. In my car that screen almost would never get used and it would be ugly in the meantime. My guess is that the passenger will prefer to just use their phone most of the time. Mercedes has a very impressive hyper screen that goes all the way across the car and I prefer their lower model with just a large tablet screen. Then there is the Lincoln Nautilus with a screen going all the way across the top of the dash. I like a big screen, but that’s a lot. So I guess for me it’s possible to have too much screen.
Otherwise, just like I built mine... The question is if white interior is durable over time or if it gets too worn or stained? Doesn't feel premium with white plastic on the back of the front seats....

When I learned that the Macan has no one pedal driving I cancelled my Macan 4s order and will go SQ6. Same platform, but Audi. One-pedal driving shoulda been a software setting - huge miss by Porsche. I drive my wife's Volvo EV all the time and in stop and go traffic, OPD is a game changer.
@@VagabondBuilds Then (like I said) make it a setting in software that you can enable - like every other EV!!! I find it hilarious when people say they don't want OPD. I ordered Macan 4s. I do love this video for recheck. Thank you
Glad we can be of help really!

I hear ya. Beautiful car. You aren’t going wrong with your choice.
enjoy!
Good for you.
Just turned 70 and feel the same way about depreciation.

Yep.👍
I ordered Macan 4s in this color . Thank you for reviewing , so I can see how the color is looks like🙏

Definitely worth it!

Красивый электрический Макан.
Yes it is 😄. Porsche is a different animal.
The current generation Porsche Macan is timeless and beautiful. Idk what this new model is
I will have to agree with the timeless comment. But I think in time there is no Porsche that isn’t timeless.. 😄
Beautiful car. I like the traditional looking instrument cluster but don’t really like the look of the second screen for the passenger.
I like the traditional as well. I also like the full tech too.

Well, let us know which one you go with haha
Can you do a new panamara next?
Yes, we have done it and it will be releasing soon. Beautiful car I say.
The "Porsche Digital Key" is missing, driving with Mobilphone!
??
What is your height sir? You make the Macan 4 looks especially small
I am 6 feet 2 inch
The only complaint I have with this vehicle is that there isn't enough legroom in the back row. I wish they could make it roomier.
I believe there was enough for being a tall guy.
macan usually doesn’t fit for a 4 ppl road trip for me, I used to own one and drove more in the twisty backroads

I personally don’t like white interior… but it’s all preference
It’s not white like in a Tesla, it’s chalk which is more towards cream. And it’s not plastic but leather - at least in the model I ordered 😊
Oh okay, gotcha!
What color is this? What is the range difference between the RWD and the 4?
Please see the MSRP sticker in the video. Thank you for watching!

Yea, I don’t see many first gen electric cars having issues. I mean you get them but I see it rare.
I will stick with my Macan GTS. I don't see any benefit to moving to a EV Macan, and I don't think Porsche got the styling right on this one.
What about the styling don’t you like and do you ever think you’ll switch to EV at one point?
Why not a hybrid version ? 🤔
That’s a good question honestly. Not a fan of full EV?
Because the platform it is based on is called PPE not PPH.
