- We finally solved the frustrating compressed texture 2d bug that I was experiencing in the last video. You had to change the compress mode to lossless and then click the re-import button in the top left corner. There's an option to do this for both 2D and 3D...
I also showcase some of my 3D progress and show off some dungeon floor tiles.

I can't believe the quality level of the games I see getting released on Steam every day...
It feels daunting to try to release in todays climate. I'm hoping to just make something cute thats got a world worth exploring.
@@NuttyDavid I think that's the thing though, every game nowadays is a big cinematic masterpiece of graphical fidelity, but many games out there lack the very thing that drew lots of people to video games...
The charm. The charisma. The personality.
I think that's why a lot of games that have retro graphics are so popular nowadays, despite being simple in terms of graphics. People don't need a beautiful game, they want a fun one with charm and personality.
