Your Braver then me to Trust the Self driving.
So glad you guys got a Tesla and that you’re showing the world the benefits and the safety of full self driving. I just got back from 100 mile round-trip to Los Angeles in rush-hour traffic with zero stress zero effort had full faith and confidence in thecars ability, I let it drive with minimal interventions and it got me home safe and sound 👍
Los Angeles traffic is not for the weak! So, no stress in L.A. traffic is Amazing 😎
Yep FSD is my favorite Tesla feature. Inuse it for 98% of my drives. Nice video.
It will usually stop at the stop line or at the stop sign and then creep forward to see. Sometimes if the sign is far back of the line I'll use a bit of throttle to force the car forward so I stop only once where I can see or more accurately where the car can see lol.
I have had it since the car was new a bit over a year ago and it still delights me with how good it's gotten. Way better than a year ago.
Congratulations!!! You are now double pioneers... carnivore and Tesla FSD... as am I. Welcome aboard. We march to a different drummer and, as with your carnivore journey, you will encounter naysayers. Those who judge reflexively on hearsay without having had the actual experience. I'm a bit sad to see some of the negative comments, especially considering that these same posters must face an identical prejudicial mindset in their adoption of carnivore/keto. Please don't be dismayed. Content providers such as yourself have helped me and others to overcome our skepticism and fear of the new and beneficial and I THANK YOU for sharing. As with carnivore, carefully crafted vested interests strive to deter competing alternatives and I understand the difficulty in separating essential data from hyperbole. I urge commenters that choose their own life choices to extend the courtesy of allowing that right to others and reserve harsh criticism. Doubt and questioning are essential in growing understanding of any path or endeavor, but it is dialog, not judgement, that is productive.
Steph and Steven enjoy your Tesla and, through free and frequent updates, it's forever young personality. You are in for a treat. I'm 9 months, 16,000 miles(98% FSD) coast to coast into my own enjoyment. Travel is so effortless that I have done several 18-30 hour stretches without a sleep break and each time I was reluctant to get out. I don't mind if you don't believe that because it is so far beyond my previous travel experience that I don't believe it myself. Without the typical workload of navigating, lane keeping and speed control fatigue is simply not the limiting factor it once was. As an FSD driver I'm able to devote more time to traffic awareness and safety and the sights passing by... all the while with a computer that never gets tired or distracted and can monitor for hazards continuously 360 degrees. Through dark of night, fog and rain. Far from being nervous using FSD, I actually breath a sigh of relief when I engage it. If you you don't yet have the latest updates, you will soon experience your car parking itself and coming to you driverless as you wait curbside. And you will no longer have to keep your hand on the wheel. Capability is expanding rapidly and continuously now a very exciting time to be a new Tesla owner with FSD. But of course, much credit is also due to carnivore for my very improved energy and focus for which I am so grateful. A winning combination. At 72, I'm out and about discovering the beauty of these United States and counting my blessings and giving thanks to people with the courage to share their own experiences. I'll bet you are right this minute, as you bemoan the longevity of my comment, trying to come up with an excuse to hop in your new toy. I think I see enough space in your freezer for another chuck roll . Go have fun with your good health. Best wishes always
FYI, no need to constantly touch the steering wheel. Just need to give the steering wheel a slight tug or pressure every now and then.
Cool! Thank you Salty 😊
Wow, great video. I dont know if i could get used to trusting the car to do the driving. This is a very good video.
Thank you for the kind words we appreciate it. 😊
It's easier than you might think, once you see how it works, and how well it works.
I have seen these cars and thought they were really cool, but way out of my price range. People who have them in below freezing temps in winter have said that the batteries die and cause the people to be stranded. That kind of thing would be a nope for me. I think Tesla is better suited to warmer climates for now until they improve the battery situation. So, I will just continue to watch you guys with your Tesla. Happy stress free driving! 🚗
Thanks for watching Sue ❤️
It’s only a 20% range loss with the heat pump In the winter and It starts up every time
The people in Norway would highly disagree with you.
@homesteadhomie7855 All I know is what I saw in the news, that people in Minnesota were having problems with the batteries freezing in below freezing temps. If you have a solution to keep the batteries from freezing, then I say congratulations!!! The Teslas are still too costly for me to even think about getting one.
My cousin owns one in Canada, he parks it all winter.
Because the batteries 🔋 will not charge at all because where he lives
way to much snow and cold.
He has to use his gasoline vehicle.
I enjoy watching people who have never used FSD before.
That was awesome. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching Jim.
Your car went first at the stop sign because of the “right of way” law, cars on the left need to yield to the cars on the right when both stop at the same time.
I can’t believe I didn’t know that! Thanks Joe. I’m gonna quiz Steph and impress her with my new found knowledge 😊
@@StevenSteph 😂❤
@@StevenSteph it was the only question I missed on my drivers ed final in 1984 so it’s been Ingrained into my tiny brain. Don’t ask about my anniversary date though lol.
@@StevenStephthat was a question on my driver's license test in the 70s. I got 100% lol. Even the trickily worded left hand turn question that threw ppl off because the correct answer started with to the right of the center line, didn't fool me.
Very cool I'm happy for you guys❤
Thanks Suzan 😊
No thanks
Hi my dears. I just love your enthusiasm Steph😂 I wish you many, many happy miles. God bless you both 🙏🏻💖from me to you.🇨🇦
And you as well Delphine❤️
Very nice. The car looks brand new.
We couldn’t be happier😊 Thanks for watching
Steph you might want to keep some of the cloths in the car used for cleaning glasses so you can clean your touch screen.
Thanks for the tip Ryan
The cabin camera above the rearview mirror is checking your attentiveness. If you are always looking at the road you don't need your hands on the wheel at all times. If your attention strays you will get the blue line above the screen that alerts you to put some torque on the wheel. You can do that with only one hand on one side. You can rest your elbow on your knee and your hand on the bottom left of the wheel. Very relaxing and comfortable. Just let the car do all the work and you supervise. :) ENJOY!!!!!
Awesome! Thanks for the tips Kimberly ❤️
Wow that is so awesome! I would love the hands free driving so cool! Fun to see how excited you both are with the Tesla. I am an OG and remember many conversations of Steve talking about the Tesla and his Tesla tchotchke’s he received and shared with us. 😅 he finally god his dream car. 👏🏼👏🏼💕
Thanks for sticking with us for so long we appreciate you 🙏❤️
@@StevenSteph you’re welcome love you guys! 💕
Crazy technology ❤
I think the launch from stop is my least favorite feature of my Tesla. I use the chill mode. Also there was water crossing a street I was turning on, it waffled it. But I really like my Model 3 with FSD. Good to see it works well in Temecula. The real test would be Pechanga on a Saturday night. 😅
😂 Pechanga would be a great test.
One of the best self driving videos that I have seen.
Thank you Michael you are very kind.
Pretty awesome. Too much traffic for me. Yikes. 😂😂❤❤
Amazing car, I want one too.😮.
Have you driven it thru a grave yard yet LOL... Heard you mention the "ghost" and I've seen other videos of people who swear their Tesla's show people in grave yards that aren't there...
What? Ok, we gotta look into this 😎
smooth driving guys, enjoy it.
Now Steph can "drive"!!
Yes 😂
Hi guys. Excitement plus with new car. Did you pay for the car outright? Looks fantastic, although I personally would be afraid to drive it.
California gas prices are why you have so many teslas. Unfortunately most car companies have discontinued all of their economy cars this year. I think it's part of the plan to force us into electrics in the near future. I have a 2012 Ford Focus that gets 40mpg. So for me there's no way an electric is as economical
Hmmm. Best tracking for big brother.
Not as good as our phones 😂
How cute is it watching Steph get excited about it! 👏🏻🤣😀From this side of the pond here in England. 👏🏻🇬🇧🥰
Thanks for watching 😊❤️
haha.. Two of my favorite topics, Tesla and Carnivore in one channel.
😂 ❤️
That is too cool ❤😊
Thanks for watching ❤️
😲 I don't even like to use cruise control. 😲
If you happen to see a dumpster that you both want to peek into, will it re-park itself? 🙂
Oh my gosh! 😂 😂 Good one David ❤️
Do you have to get upgraded car insurance for a self driving car? I cracked up when Steph said it saw the 2 kids and a ghost too. Well maybe there was a ghost monitoring the kids.
Did not need upgraded insurance. Our Tesla drives itself and hunts Ghost 😂
@@StevenSteph 😂😂😂
You are so brave to trust the car. I just moved back to the OC from Temecula a year ago, so I'm familiar with traffic on those exact streets. Egads! All I can say is so brave!!
But, it does look fun. Does there have to be someone sitting in the driver's seat? Or, could you just ride shotgun and chill, with no one in the driver's seat?
You have to have a driver. I imagine the future will be full self driving without having a driver in the seat.
Mercedes is bringing out a car that has no steering wheel at all.
So soon you’ll be able to do nothing but sit there and have the car drive you wherever you wanna go.
And that will be in a few years from now they saying on the internet and UA-cam, from Mercedes.
The Technology is here already, but they just have to study them a lot more to get all the “Bugs” out of
them all first!!
And show all other country’s Governments around the world that they’re safe to be in as you sit behind
the steering wheel or not!!
Tesla, is very popular in California, because Gasoline “Prices” are out of this world there.
We have a lot of Tesla in Canada, and the only “One” dealership’s in Canada’s in the “Biggest” Malls
near my house.
It’s very weird to see the dealership right in the middle of a mall where you go to buy clothes, or shoes,
or small appliances but not cars.
People here have them or awhile and then “Dump” them because we don’t have enough charging stations
around my area or in our hole country, and Tesla will not share their charging stations with any other EV.
And it cost a lot to have a special box put into a house garage, it will cost you over $10,000.00 dollars, and our
Governments have taken away most of the rebates off EV in Canada.
So people aren’t Buying them anymore.
And they have Added a luxury taxes to anything we buy over $100.000.00 dollars and some of the brand new
Tesla are that here.
And if you Own or Rent a Apartment or Condominiums, in Canada, and own any type of a EV.
They’re not allowed any of them into a underground parking lot or anywhere where outside because they cannot have any
charging stations there at all in case of a fire.
You must change your EV somewhere else or go Rent or Buy a house and then pay out a lot of Money to a
special certified electrician that only puts in charging stations in homes or cottages.
And not to many People can even buy bread, milk or groceries these days?
So they’re not buying any vehicles or EV at all.
BTW, be careful with how much you show regarding your street and addresses. Make sure to protect your privacy. My Italian mama always taught me to be a careful😂😂😂 Enjoy your new car 🚗 🎉
Thanks for the tips! 😊
Very cool.
Boa tarde StevenSteph! Que tudo dê certo em sua vida! Que Deus te abençoe! Fica com Deus! Que tudo dê certo no seu Dia a Dia! Que você receba muitas bênçãos do Universo!!!
Did you notice that it couldn't tell a box truck from a school bus? Other than that Looks very cool. The real test would be if a person had a seizure while driving would it stop automatically?
🤔 I don’t know?
Looking at other videos, if you fail to apply pressure to steering wheel for a long time it will keep increasing the audio and visual warnings and eventually come to full stop with hazard lights
I dunno' man. Self driving, with me behind the wheel, just seems.... creepy😖
Now, Tesla PLAID mode, with me IN FULL control.... now we're talkin'😎🚀
😂 ❤️
Wonder if they will come up with school buses with this technology.
That would be great 👍🏼
What does it have for a warrant on the car and more specifically on the battery?
120,000 Miles on battery and motors and a 10,0000 mile basic warranty.
You enjoy that... not for me.
I read that u don’t have to have your hands on the wheel all the time! It tells you to tap or touch the wheel every 30 to 70 seconds! And it said that Tesla owners always touch the back of their car when going by to Acknowledge the technology!🤣
Oh ok, Thanks for the tip 😊 And we will be sure to touch the back 😂❤️
@@StevenSteph yw!!!
Don't like them. Have had 2 to run me completely off the road and crash cause people had them in drive mode and them asleep 😴.
Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system does not allow you to sleep while it is driving. Even with FSD, Tesla cars require the driver to remain attentive and ready to take control at any time. The current FSD system is classified as a Level 2 driver assistance system, meaning the driver must stay engaged with the road and keep their hands on the wheel. Tesla’s in-car cameras and sensors monitor driver attention, and if the system detects inattentiveness, it will prompt the driver to take action.
Nope noway, not for me. I wanna be in control lol! But it sure is fun to watch and I never thought they would come out with a car like this. It is actually self driving! Very cool but not for me!
It’s wild Kris
Nope! Not for me.
You dont have to keep your hands on the wheel all of the time
