I just found this video and the result looks soooo good. That's literally what I wanted the 3-4 times I went to the salon and they gave me a blondish balayage, which either has to be kept blonde at all times or it doesn't look good. 🙄 Hopefully with a dye from the store, I'll be able to give myself a fun new dark brown to light brown balayage. 🤞🏼

I think it came out beautiful. Very unique color and it looks fabulous on you. It doesn't look too dark at all. It probably does to you because you've been seeing yourself with so much blond, but it looks very classy, soft, and unique. Great job!! p.s. - don't cut your hair too much. It's beautiful long. Enjoy it now. When you get old, you can wear it short all you want, and believe me, you'll want to.
Absolute win! Deanndra, you could be bald or have green hair and still look incredible. I also prefer beige and warm colors in my and I love dimension that a mix of blonde and brown gives our hair. As for cutting your hair, I think it would be healthy to cut off a few inches. If you decide you want to go shorter, you can always cut a bit more. Stay fabulous!

I got the same hair dye and did the cap tho and my highlights were great but not dark enough :// and I tried to do the highlights myself and I couldn’t weave very well at all. So I saw that hair weaving comb u we’re using, so I purchased one on Amazon. so gonna try the same dye, just a darker color. Oh also to do bleached hair your supposed to go red first then brown it fills the empty color in the bleached hair and for the final brown application a protein filler by ion from sallys will help

Looks good ! Ash color on blonde can get a green tone just a heads up . Ash is difficult to work with

I'm going to try this tonight! At the end of this video you said you'd use the wider end to keep more of the blonde, if I wanted to do the same, could I use the larger side on the bottom of my hair and the smaller side on top? Or would that look stupid?
I don’t think it would look stupid! I actually think it would look better bc the wide side does get a little stripe-y looking on the top sections.

i think why it turned darker is because u dyed the upper section of the comb instead of the lower ones either ways it looks so beautiful and professionally done !!! love the undertone on u ❤️

I don't understand what the comb did for you. Did you leave some previous sections untouched by this new dye?
The comb weaves the strands, so I only dyed the top sections. It left highlights in my hair so I didn’t have a one dimensional color
Your bleached part of your hair looked pretty ashy blonde to begin with to be, or is it just the lighting? Was your hair more on the brassy side to begin with? Just curious because my hair is more on the brassy side so I’m wondering if it would work with me. More yellow tones in my hair.
It’s definitely on the cool/neutral side before I started. You could try a demi color to tone first. It might get you less brassy & you might not even have to do the due portion.

Did you did the medium as brown all over and how long did you leave it on? I did highlights that are too bright and all over want more a subtle look
No, I used the comb to weave the sections and only did the brown in the top section of the weave. This will definitely tone down your highlights. But you can also use a demi permanent dye to tone it down.

I actually used your technique with the blondeme bleach and the comb and it came out great. We’re still in lockdown here in England so home hair is a must!
I am thinking of maybe going darker again in a few months as the upkeep of the bleach is hard and my hair is damaged so I’ll probably use this technique as again it came our fab. The queen of the home hair diy’s! x

I would try a light ash brown if you’re blonde!! It won’t be as dark as mine! If you then want to go darker you can try the medium brown.

How long was the time in between the last time you highlighted your hair and this time?
I got the loreal medium ash brown I couldn't find the one that you used will the highlights still show if I do it all over? I also bought thr deep bronze brown which one do you think I should use?
No the highlights will all get covered. That’s why I used the comb. I have a video where I had botched highlights and I did dye all over if you want to see those results. It’s in my hair playlist in the description box. I’d go with the lighter one bc it’s easy to darken but lightening take bleach which equals more damage.

You should have use a dark brown protein filler first, then add the medium ash brown dye. Added a few drops of hair brown protein hair dye to hair. So color would all come out even. Good luck!

If you are going to do the light golden brown like u said on the video would you still have stuck with revlon or gone for garnier?
I usually go for revlon or loreal...Idk why I haven't tried garnier! but just make sure it has "golden" in the color name.
