The Black Templars are Loyalists though they are confrontational with other Loyalists chapters, as unlike the majority of Space marines who still view the Emperor in a Secular manner the Black Templars fully embrace the Imperial Cult and worship the Emperor as a God and are not above in fighting other chapters on this subject. Also they butt heads alot with their Parent legion the Imperial Fists as they have an opposite preference in warfare

I do really like how all 3 of the different Chapter disciplines are shown here. The Black Templar goes for aggressive upfront sword combat, The Crimson Fist being level headed and providing coverfire, and The Space Wolf... being a space wolf and just jumps right at it.
It also perfectly portrays the Deathwatch aspect of them, how despite their vastly different approaches, they're able to pretty seamlessly work as a team.

Apparently deal went bad and since at the time there was no legal blah blah, blizzard after all their work decided to turn all of those games into STARCRAFT. GW later released DOW but was never strong enough to live up to SC as a game.
@@jayh7061 You are bit wrong about that. It wasnt Starcraft that was originally Warhammer product, it was Warcraft, it was intended as a game to the original setting, Warhammer Fantasy which 40k was originally SciFi spin off of. Star Craft came after that deal between GW and Blizzard.

That is no Space Wolf, that's an Alpha Legionary and odds are the only reason the two sons of Dorn have not been replaced yet is because they know too much about one another for an Alpha Legionary to replace one of them without raising the suspicions of the other.
I work in an ER so "Nobody died" is usually the standard for a good day with me. On bad days where people do die, I just say "Remember Armageddon" and remind myself that _not enough have died yet_
Imagine spending several millennium becoming the ultimate killing machine, armed with some of the most destructive weaponry in your dynasty meant to fight gods, only to be beaten by a bunch of surgically altered apes with pointy sticks.
I like how the Flayed Ones don't get teleported out when they die like normal Necrons. They're all insane and the sapient Necrons try to keep them quarantined if possible.
Finally, some tactical and strategic skills are being shown, detection of the weaknesses, neutralization of the long rage weapon, then proceed to immobilize the target and then just the finak blow. Epic
For anyone wondering: Deathwatch is the militant arm of the Ordo Xenos, a branch of the Inquisition that deals with (hostile) xenos/aliens, i.e. Orks, Necron, Tyranids, Drukari/Dark Eldar, etc. They're the guys the Inquisition calls when sh*t is getting out of control and they don't just need more firepower, but also experience, as only veteran Space Marines receive the honor of serving in Deathwatch. Space Marines are drawn from all Chapters, bringing very unique skills to their kill teams. Typically one pauldron displays their Chapter's heraldry while the other shows that of the Inquisition.

@@guillaumew4460 the black templars are very religous and are from the same gene seed as the crimson fists, so i shouldnt hate each other, the black templars are usually hated due to there very dogmatic veiws while most rogal dorne sired chapters are pragmatic and straight talking. furthermore, death watch killteams are usually put together of chapters that dont get along, as its to encourage bonds and trust between different astares chapters.

Flayed ones are actually scary.... Only real ones knew that statue was Gman instantly. Sons of Dorn are without question some of the most legendary Space Marines to ever live. This is one of the greatest warhammer cinematics to date.... S+
I love the detail of the door weight at the beginning. It took the whole squad to slowly close the door and they hoped it would hold against enemy forces. the black templar just kicks it open easily

However I’d love to see the Dark Eldar doing some horrific torturous depraved things and cause people to have a nervous breakdown and start turning against each other whilst the SM’s use Librarian Psychers to try and fight Slaanesh Psychers. I honestly wish they would make a death watch pve coop game. Use the same combat mechanics as SM2 and some form skill points like Dawn of war 2, add some more xenos races and 3 possible 4 planets to fight on.

The least lore accurate part is the space wolf being without a Power/Frost Axe, or a Kraken Tooth Pattern Chainsword... XD I love how both the Necron's Gun is shown to be insanely powerful, and The way the Power shield actually WORKS for a time, because it's not only a slab of Adamntine and Ceramite, but also because of it's energy field.

Titus with a Deathwatch squad, before he gets transferred back to the Ultramarines for the rest of the game and there are various novels too.
This right here is the Space Marine 2 DLC we need...the rest of the arc where the Necrons who built the Pylons start waking up or show up to fk the Tyranids and really anything alive on those planets....and then we can add a Terminator + Dreadnought class :D
Why didn't GW just make Primaris Deathwatch into...THIS...from the very moment they were constructing the lore for primaris they could have gone with this approach. Just like Strike Force Justian, a mix of primaris marines would have been a much better option from the beginning.

Because the crimson fist is using antiphasic shells, that is why the Templar puts the flayed one up to be shot, and why he shoots at the end too.

Yeah confirmed he really works with Bandai namco in making the new Gundum/Zeon animation series.
Bandai namco has officially created partnership with GW not just model making but perhaps even animation/anime in the future.

i wish more fans understood that space marines are often is very small numbers, less than 5. yeah there are major battles but space marines are over kill for the vast majority of treats in the 40k universe..... tell they aren't lol.

For some tripping guys, Deathwatch is a mix of loyalists from all space marine legions. Even if there's a word bearer or lunar wolf among their ranks in the video, it's not a surprising thing. Even during Horus Heresy, the bald head had to purge loyalists in their traitor legions. AKA Istavan battlefield purge
They are taken from the chapters, not legions. There are no traitor Astartes in the Deathwatch.

Love it when astartes are actually wrecking stuff and don't fall like flies all the time.. kinda weird in this frenchise: here have some tank of a supersoldier but then literally have him die to a casual ork which you then say there's millions of..
