I am interested in installing the exact lift on my Expedition. Wondering, two years later how is the Expedition handling the ReadyLift, any problems with tire wear or other components failing?
@@GasTachs I see. 👍 I did 295/55/20 AT on factory rims, no rubbing, from 275/55/20 AT. My gas consumption is unchanged. Somewhere on UA-cam there is a car show where the vehicle was fitted with 305/35/24 AS with no rubbing or trimming the vehicle. Keep going! 👍
Ride didn’t change, but my legs are getting strong with the extra height. The wildpeaks are the best! No highway noise. Great for snow, much and road! I have them on all my 4x4 and camper
@@GasTachs Haha thats awesome! I’m torn between the Terra grapplers or the Wildpeaks for my stock 20’s. Planning to do a car camp on some light to medium mud terrain, but hoping for the least impact on highway driving.
IMO, these ReadyLIFT kits make the rear look like it is sagging. Most trucks come from the factory with a rake angle that has an appearance of the front being lower than the rear; however, the Expeditions already come with a level appearance. So, with trucks other than the Expedition, you may wish to level and lift the vehicle by raising the front more than the rear, hence the 3" front lift but only 2" rear lift. But, since the Expeditions already appear level from the factory, raising the front 3" and the rear only 2" gives the rear a sagging appearance, again, IMO. You can see this in the before and after measurements as well, with the before measurements being equal and the after measurements showing the front higher than the rear. Do you agree? What appearance do you prefer?
Every time you finish what you’re saying, your last few words you would slow down and extend the words like your singing it… lol. I like you video, I couldn’t stop noticing it though 😂
I appreciate the effort you are putting into your videos and I look forward to seeing what all you do with this vehicle.
Thanks Michael, it's not the easiest filming and doing these project but I do think it helps a couple people out!

wow it looks like a dream to work on such a new car
Oh yeah. its nice working on a new car. I also have a 04 VW with 180,000 miles I work on and a 1968 vw
What a cool lift! Physics in real life. So neat.
What size tires did you add and did they rub?
Did you need to correct the alignment and if yes what part did you need to do it
I needed an alignment afterwards yes. no extra parts and the lift comes with the alignment specs
I have to give you a check mark for the hard work ! It look great, it look like a totally new vehicle ( it not the standard soccer mon SUV)
Wait until the next video 😳
This is badass I like it bro
@@calvinbostic7237 thanks!
i just want to balance my FX4 expedition.. i want to raise the front lil bet, what do u advice me
Get the ready lift kit and only use the front.
How has the readylift 3/2 held up? Trying to consider options for my 19 Lim with CCD
This may not work with ccd unless you go into forscan and disable it, the suspension would still work just wouldn't have ccd
Any particular reason you didn’t go wider on the tire tread?
i was worried about rub and I didnt want to buy new rims. Currently on utune there is some "rub" on the fender liner.

Does it still fit in the garage? What is final height?
Yes it does, final light 82"
Drop the shock or strut?
Just a simple "puck" above the springs no other mods needed
Will a level kit for a f150 work for a 2021 expedition ? Ended up traded my truck before the kit came in lol
I do not think it will sorry.
No it will not. F150 has a live axle and Expeditions are independent.
Excellent upgrade!! How was the ride quality after the lift? Also, are the wildpeaks comfortable on the highway?

*So what do you think? look better? Basically the same? let me know. If you're interested here is the lift Link to the lift - **gt.gastachs.com/qx3*

Yes I would agree. It would have been better for just 2” all around because you won’t be able to fit a 3” in the rear.
I didn't hear in the video, but what size tires did you put on?
8:38 bottom of screen 👍

I thought the fx4’s came stock with a lift already? Sry if I missed that in your video already.
Nope, no lift stock

Shit happens thx for watching
Did you film the part where you scrunched the shock spring in the front wheel? I would be interested to see that magic.
I did but it didnt make the cut😂
@@GasTachs I would watch even an uncut version just to save time on editing. Especially if it includes the near face plant. ; )
At least you didn't need to change the springs on these giant ass coilovers
Compared to my R32 these thing where MASSIVE. like really MASSIVE!
needs to drop lower control arm " Need Another 3 Inches " Ha...... Thats What She Said!!... ;)
