Composite vs Component Cables

Everyone started with AV cables but not a lot of people know about better options. Today I am comparing and contrasting the cables

thanks, not sure if I should get a component cable for my original xbox. I like the old school soft look... maybe I could just play at 480i i like that

I would strongly recommend getting component cables for Xbox because there are a handful of games that will support 720p and 1080i. This game (MX Unleashed) is ONE of those games that support 1080i
Even if you choose not to use those resolutions on component, your video quality would still look nicer than composite.
BUT if you prefer playing in just 480i, I believe S-Video is actually optimal compared to composite and component in terms of clarity
