Having any people there at all without restraints defeats the whole purpose of the important job of the KINGS GAURD.. tourists unfortunately equates to chaos and disrespect. People should not be allowed to mull around where Guards are working. For the past few weeks I’ve been watching this chaos around the Buckingham Palace and it upsets me so much to witness the unbelievable degradation and ugliness of many many people. I will never visit the Buckingham palace just out of respect for those Guards. I don’t need to be there to add to the chaos and mayhem.

It always amazes me how so many stupid people seem to know where to find so many other stupid people . As adults they seem to be very illiterate , as so many of them don't seem to know how to read the signs posted beside the horses and guards . These men and horses are working , they have a job to do . How would these people feel if someone was interrupting them all day while they work ? Half of them laugh when yelled at , thinking it is all a game . I have so much respect for these men , to do this job is hard enough , and to have to tolerate idiots all day . I am truly amazed at the rudeness and disrespect! It appears to be across the board from every race, ethnicity, country, even religion. Am I the only one that watches these and thinks that every adult and most teens should know how to behave and show some respect? These are working guards and are on duty, this is their job. Would they be so calm if someone came into their work and started jerking their chair around, stood in their way when trying to walk around, mimicked their every move or laughed when they got annoyed? They treat it like a petting zoo and that no authority of any kind has the right to tell them what to do, and some of them are older adults! They read the signs and it's almost like they try to see if they can get away with it and laugh when they don't. However, I enjoy the videos and seeing the guards, especially the changing of the guards. Thank you.

I truly believe the tourists think the guards and horses are there for their entertainment. That would account for the clapping, snickering, laughing, and general disrespect. As long as the tourists are allowed to approach the horses much less touch them, nothing will change. I feel so badly for the guards and horses for all they have to put up with each day. No wonder the horses are becoming irritable and biting.

It’s sad that people have no respect for the soldiers just plain ignorance and that’s the sad part respect is gone. Ignorance is a profession and all those people have it that should respect us soldiers and offices, but they could take respect that live at the library because there isn’t anymore.
