It’s sad. He got involved with the wrong woman, a sheep in wolves clothing or however the saying goes. I had a somewhat similar experience with a woman last year that, on the outside seemed genuine, faithful and battled and overcame her addictions. Then reality set in snd I came to learn everything she was doing not in my presence. She’s like a Tammy Sytch but not at the most dangerous level Tammy is at. Gotta be weary and mindful of who you get involved with. Chris literally did everything for that woman only to be given nonstop heartbreak in return. Tammy is exactly where she belongs!

I loved this episode and have fond memories of watching Chris perform in ECW. However since I work for a bank I can confirm that no individual consumer can rack up $170,000.00 in debt on a credit card. I know this was in the early 2000’s but that did not happen. If they lost their house due to the debt he incurred due to Paul Heyman, that means they mortgaged their home to fund the talent flights, etc. which honestly makes what Heyman did to them much worse.

Now I don't know how much of the story is true but the episode clearly showed tammy as being the thing that just slowly ruined chris's life. Which yeah she did horrible shit with cheating on him and getting into drugs but i also think chris never stood up because he wanted to fit in and tammy was more popular. This was the first time i seen of tammy in smokey mountain and my gosh she was a amazing heel. Trying to pose as "See women can suceed" while actively kicking every other woman down to stay ontop while also demeaning women she thinks isn't as perfect as her. Not just the Tammy cheating part, but the fact that Shawn, knowing Chris would do nothing about it, still was such a chicken shit that he still had Nash and Hall watch the door of the room they were banging in, just in case Chris or anyone else tried to call him on it. The more I think about how much of a blatantly slimey coward he was, the less respect I have for him.

@wizzer wiser So, I guess the fact that everybody did it absolves Shawn then? And it doesn't make everyone less of a jerk because last I checked, Shawn was the only one having others do the fighting for him (and he had no shame in admitting he did that in a cocky manner because he knew he couldn't fight and would only do it if he had a chance of winning so basically being a bully). AOL changed that, creating a "walled garden" for non-technical people to play in before venturing out into the "wild" internet. In the process, it set the stage for the gigantic echo chamber of blogs, comment sections, and FB posts we all know and just love today.

I was a fan of Chris like most people that watch wrestling in the 90s, I meant when I first saw him I was a young fan and he and Tammy were heels in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, but looking back you can tell that for it being there first real gig they were both very good.
The one thing about the story though, and I really thought the Darkside of the ring would at least have the balls to tell all of the truth , we can’t pick and choose which part of the shoot interviews we want to believe but then if it makes one of the guys that we really like look bad like Brian, Pillman, or Davey boy Smith, then we just pretend that part didn’t happen. This story that she was just this innocent girl that never did anything wrong until she met Sean Michaels and then he and only he was the only one that knocking boots with her while she was with Chris is just a flat out lie.
I want to kill some people will take her information from certain shoot interviews and run with. It is gold, but things sit in the same interviews. They’ll just pretend didn’t happen. No one it was not just HBK , and it was Davey boy Smith, it was Raven, it was hack, and Brian Pillman in those are just the ones we know of that have come to light.
And I think Chris was a great talent, but at the same time dude you have to stand up for yourself. And this whole “well, what was he going to do stand up to Shawn Michaels? They would’ve given him a terrible gimmick, and made him do jobs to people like Berry Horowitz!” OK I don’t know if you guys were watching his WWF career but it’s not like he was a three time Intercontinental champion getting ready to win king of the ring when this started. He was already losing to jobbers and already had a bad gimmick, so it’s not like that world title shot that Vince McMahon told him about on the next ppv’s was going to be scratched off if he stood up to somebody.
It is a sad story, and I do feel bad for him to a certain extent but a lot of it was unfortunately his fault and we have to stop doing this in the wrestling communities where we pick and choose parts of the story we want to tell. If you’re going to hold one person accountable for a sin, then you need to hold everyone else accountable for the same sin.

Let's be real if Chris was still alive, regardless of how great of a wrestler he was. Fans would have been chanting 'cuck' at him.
We as a fandom aren't exactly the most mature people. Because the stories of Sunny cheati g on Chris were already becoming more well known thanks to the internet.

If Chris candido were alive today chances are he be a big star because he pretty much laid down the foundation for smaller wrestlers to get over. Chances are he'll probably would have been a trainer for aew, probably wouldn't see him working for WWE because of the issues that him and Shawn Michaels had but we don't know, chances are Shawn Michaels would have probably apologize for the stuff he did to him and maybe would have forgive him. And let's be honest If Shawn Michaels didn't had the power and influence as a big-time star, chances are Chris candido would have popped him in the mouth multiple times.

As much as this was hard to listen too especially the stuff about how oblivious it seemed Chris was to the affairs, the stuff with Heyman made me hate him. He had Tammy who i don't like at all and made me feel bad for her with that vlog and he sold it when it shouldn't have happened!
I first saw Chris in WCW during his 2000 run at the time and thought he looked stacked, going back over the matches he could work like no one. Shame about how preventable his passing was. RIP Chris

When you said Haymen was a bad carnie guy was 100% right. Thank you for that, what a scummy guy Haymen is. I used to fish with a guy who was a Indy wrestler in New Jersey and his in ring name was Equalizer. First name Paul, don't remember the last name. He was also like a carpenter and stuff like that. Chris was the godfather of The Equalizer's children. That's how close they were. Paul did not like Tammy. My main problem with Tammy is not the wrestling stuff or even Chris who I feel so bad for. It's the danger Tammy caused in real life with her substance abuse. One person said before she killed that guy was "What's it going to take? Tammy kills someone?" Well, as we know that happened. So sickening. Thank you again for your wonderful program

How she got them back to back like that baffles me. Florida however does not play. The min man for dui manslaughter I think is 10 years. She got 17 she’ll do 15 I think. 85% and no parole in Florida
