Then Ohtani comes along and in his first year in the National League with the Dodgers he goes for a 50/50 season. To be exact he finishes the year with a staggering 54 home runs and 59 stolen bases in total which is not too far off from a 60/60 season!! I am a Mets fan, the Mets lost to the Dodgers in the NLCS, I was very upset, I hate the Dodger. But still having said that I cannot deny how amazing Shohei Ohtani is at baseball, and I cannot deny that we are witnessing history unfold in front of our eyes.
