@@goobersmithsI see what you’re saying, but it seems like you were relying on your own strength and power. “Surrender” is a major thing in Christianity, you said you “tried your best to make your prayers come true but they never did--“ but if you were praying to God yet trying to answer your own prayers then you were never really asking HIM for anything because you would try to answer them yourself. You didn’t give Him room to work.
Don't be lukewarm. God spits out the lukewarm. Be for God. Read the Bible. Go to church. Learn. Get baptised. Then spread the good word to anyone who will hear it. God is true. Let people know so they can be saved.

I love how you highlighted the prophesies in the OT leading up to Jesus. I personally think that's really really cool how everything is just connected! Great video!
Except nearly all of these so-called "prophecies" are either complete fabrications of the authors of Matthew/Luke, who copied from the earlier Mark and made shit up so as to make it seem like Jesus fulfilled more prophecies, or complete misinterpretations of the old testament passages. Isaiah 53, for example, is evidently referring to a person in the near future to the time that it was written, who would save Israel from Babylon, or as a metaphor for the nation of Israel as a whole.

I’ve always felt ashamed not ever reading the whole Bible normally, giving up reading because it’s so long but this video helped me understand the Bible more, that’s no excuse that I shouldn’t read my Bible but it helps me feel better
If it's any encouragement, I've read the whole thing twice now (once straight through, once in chronological order), but each time took me about 3-4 years when it should have only taken 1 if I stuck to the plan consistently. There are definitely some particularly dry parts, at least for me, but even if you read slow and keep falling out of rhythm like I did, as long as you keep coming back, you'll get there. God bless.

@@AP-vd8ve I can't remember where it's from, but there's a spot in the Bible that says that the way to tell a false prophet from a real one is if their predictions consistently come true, hence the lovely irony of the kangaroo court claiming Jesus is a false prophet at the exact time his latest prediction is coming true (the one that Peter would deny knowing him three times before the cock crowed 3 times/2 times/once depending on what gospel you're reading) there's also the fact that even fulfilling 8 prophecies accidentally is so unbelievably unlikely, and Jesus fulfilled over 300

I can't believe the Bible left a cliff hanger at the end! Still waiting for Book 2... Man, the live-action adaptation gonna be lit (considering the Bible has the largest fan base)
Book 2 is in progress... We've been writing it for the past 2000 years. And all the corruption and violence of the church in that time (sexual abuse and inquisitions) will be shown in the same light as the rebellious generations of Israel. Meanwhile, those few who truly embodied God's goodness will be recognised and praised, even if they only did what was in their small power within their immediate community. The question is... do you want to be a part of that?
@@2chvdded2care Where did you get another 20 books from? God inspired 66 books. The apocrypha contradicts the other 66 books. So where does the other 13 you counted come from? I heard some other person try to include weird books like that book of Adam and Eve which is fan-fiction. I know that it is because in chapter 3 it tries to make a prophecy, which has the literary value of a 5th grader's story essay. Example: A day cannot be anything but a period of 24 units of time as in a single day, and that book used a day like Daniel uses a week in prophecy. Which is not equal. Daniel uses a week as a measure of 7 units of time (years). Which is pre-established in Genesis when Jacob works for Laban to marry his daughters. (Genesis 29:28a) God or Moses narrates that "And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week:..." Which the book of Adam and Eve tries using the measure of a day in its 3rd chapter, claiming that the "Word" will redeem Adam and Eve in 5 and half days, which according to its own flawed symbolism and math reveals immediately that it actually means 5,500 years. Which actually sounds dumb the way its revealed. So if the other 13 books you're counting include that one, and 12 other fan-fictions. You're just... I don't know what to even say.

This is high quality. Love it
I can't believe the Bible left a cliff hanger at the end!
I don't know what to even say.

as a muslim, this video was genuinely so interesting?? i never knew the full (summarized) story of the bible and its just so fascinating 😭😭😭😭

I left Islam for Christianity. Remember the covenants that God made, there was never a covenant with Islam. It's a completely different paradigm.
This video explains why the Christian faith FULFILLS the Jewish faith. But the Muslim faith doesn't even begin to bridge the former two. Please consider this.

I don't plan on changing my views, but it's nice to finally hear a clear and understandable summary of the basics of Christianity. At least this is something I can actually process and understand, whether I'm inclined to believe it or not.
