Amanda, you should be a solo singer as succesful as the biggest divas we've ever had. You are absolutely amazing in every sense. I have watched some of your covers, and I love this one although my favourite one is "I have nothing". You are outstanding, perfect, and you put a lot of passion. I cant understand why the companies are not knocking at your door to offer you a contract. NOW!!!

I had to laugh to myself after seeing those dislikes for this video. You know that they came from fans of Beyonce who saw this rendition, heard that it's better than the original and, hyperventilating, frantically clicked on that 'thumbs down' to somehow try to convince other's that maybe it isn't better. This rendition is great! Amanda is one of the most talented singers that I have heard in a very long time and I can not wait for her album!

With that half baked argument of yours, you've implied that the cover of a song is by nature worst, less than, inferior to that of the original. Now, I see that you know how to use a computer and that your grammar is decent enough, so you're not -that- deficient to believe that....are you? You should know two things: 1.) Music is subjective (look it up) so I'm not wrong and, regrettably, neither are you - and 2.) there's a general consensus about what sounds good and what skills make a good singer. Judging by the number of views and thumbs up that this video (and my original post) has, it would seem that the majority love this rendition. *sigh* Now that I've schooled you, kindly return to residing in Beyonce's backside and leave the rest of us to enjoy life and the gift that Amanda Cole is sharing.
M Woods I guess I just get defensive when someone decides to throw around words like "stupid" and "fool" when referring to me....I never said that Amanda is Beyonce. I said that Amanda is my Beyonce for the reason that they're both powerhouse vocalists with a similar low, husky voice. She was the first female singer to come to mind (probably because she's the one who's most relevant in today's r&b/pop world.) I would never compare the
two the way you think that I did because I believe Amanda to be a better singer both technically and vocally. And guess what? THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT (going back to my 'music is subjective' point.)
You don't have to agree with me or anyone else (though you can agree that Amanda is an immense talent), but you should consider not starting out your future arguments/points/differences - whatever you want to call it, with trying to speak for everyone and name calling.......or at least wait a couple correspondences before resorting to it! Damn!

I fully understand we're all entitled to our own opinions, but you stated in your initial comment that Beyonce's fans were the ones to have thumbs down Amanda's video as if it were an accurate statement. There's just no way of knowing if Bey fans are indeed responsible for the dislikes on this video. Anyone with just a shred of common sense would know it isn't possible. I'm a fan of Beyonce and I found that part of your comment offensive. I thought it was just wrong of you to attack Bey and her fans for nothing. Did it ever occur to you that not everyone is going to actually like this cover? I think you couldve easily stated your opinions without attacking others. You chose to attack Beyonce's fans. Think about not attacking others when you post your opinionated statements online. Attacking others in your comments just resorts to more negativity.
Just did an A-B comparison to this and Beyonce's 'official' version. Amanda absolutely killed it. In my humble opinion, this is much better than the original. Kudos, Amanda. Thanks for sharing this with us. 👍

sitashma bista The truth is ...editing may be an issue for some but it basically comes down to singers being too lazy or ineffectual to sing correctly and allowing computers and over produced music & background vocals to cover up or correct vocal mistakes & short comings . If most of these artists would spend less time on Insta-gram and more time working on their music ...their vocals wouldn't have to be edited or auto tuned or pitch corrected and it would make for a much more emotionally connected and enjoyable listening experience for fans... :)
