In one of my former lives, I was an Audio Engineer and naturally had a great collection of top end ($$$$) headphones but got tired of the bulk, weight and the constant squeezing of my head. I ended up going to an Audiologist to get ear 'impressions' made and sent them off to Ultimate Ears Pro (UE) to have a set of Ultimate Ears Personal Reference Monitors made for me. I sure wish these were available when I was still doing audio work. Kind of pricey (about the same as the best set of electrostatic Stax headphones) but WHAT a difference!
