is it ready? oh yeah! when remounting if possible mount a generator and a 'work' light to it. :-) amazing little engines these are. thanks for the effort you put into these vids. =dok=
Running nicely. How you been doing up there Matt? It's been 118-120 degrees down here in the west valley Arizona. But it's a dry heat they say.
You can't walk across the the driveway without getting 2nd to 3rd degree burns on your feet. Here in Avondale most of the monsoonal rains
get pushed around us due to the mountains. We get the winds and big dust storms. It's been quite stormy and wet up your way. Stay cool and dry

Very nice engine, I do like the way the flywheels are attached instead of the previous method used of an allen screw.
I couldn't agree more. Taper locks are incredible. We use them (much larger) on commercial air compressors. The "collet effect" has proven to be much more effective than a keyway with a grub screw.
@@steam212 I hope this way filters down to all the engines coming out from China. Such an improvement over stripped soft as butter allen screws that a lot of people have had to deal with.

This is gonna blow up. Have no interest in any of this stuff and never have looked at anything similar online and I got it recommended.
What makes you think that it is going to blow up? After the recommendation and watching, do you have even the slightest interest now? Check back in from time to time and see if your prediction was right or if it's still alive and running 👍

Doesn't seem to run half bad.
Did you notice the "squeek" noise in the slow motion parts? And the oil residue on the one cylinder? Yep, another bad sparkplug leaking where the porcelain meets the base (figured it out while editing).
@@steam212 Doesn't surprise me. Quality on these engines is atrocious.
Shame, too. I found an STL file of a desktop belt sander that would be great to belt to something like this, especially if it had a flyball governor, but I have a sneaking suspicion this engine wouldn't tolerate a load any better than my M-17b does....as in, it would probably just shut off the instant a load got applied.
Say, that lamp that stars in your intro - how does it work? Did you build it yourself? Can it be bought? I'm curious!
