Horrific. That builder is learning on the job and using the worst, cheapest, most under- engineered materials. Possible also that the weather wrap has exceeded the time it's allowed to go exposed without cladding.
I'd fire that builder, tear off that wrap, and reframe whole sections. But really, looks to me like that entire structure should perhaps just be razed. It is a disaster.

careful and conscientious inspectors can save a homeowner form a slew of future nightmares . some people get perturbed thinking they are being over zealous and want the building process to hurry up .don't do it . let the inspector find every possible mistake and force the contractor to make the corrections.
i had a block/ lock house built in germany seven years ago and realized the contractor was attempting to cheat . my wife didn't know what was going on but being a retired builder i did but could not speak Deutsche . so,we hired a private inspection company that evoked terror into the builder and saved us thousands .

Where does a homeowner find an inspector like you who knows code requirements and construction to come in during the various stages of construction? My impression of the home inspectors I’ve hired (at realtor’s recommendation) for home purchases are not as thorough and detailed as you. It would seem that inspecting at the pre-drywall stage requires more knowledge and expertise than inspecting a completed house. No? I’m looking at building in an unincorporated area where there are no required municipal type inspections or even inspectors at the county level.

Ya gotta do your research. Most inspectors will have a sample report to look at. You can see there if they cite the standards. I have a page that explains some of the important characteristics of my report and explain to the person reading the importance of those said standards.
Just got to do your research my man.

"Refasten" the sheathing? That cardboard sheathing is worthless. Replace it with something substantial, not refasten! What a joke!

Wtf is it with carpenters over there? And how do you break a truss? Is it untrained carpenters? Uncertified? I hate going back to houses after they're finished so i do them properly in first case. You guys need stricter controls on what you call a tradesman. Also you gussets are too small. And truss manufacturers need their licences revoked

I think the most common way trusses are broken is when they are pulled off the truck. They don't unstack them one by one, oh no. They tie the stack to a rope and the truck pulls away yanking the whole mountain of trusses off in one place. The bottom few often get so banged up they need repairs.

That place is absolutely terrible... the paper sheathing is also a worst practices material. Sad that someone is going to make that place their biggest asset.

Put all the lipstick you want on that piggy but....I would be disappointed with that home within 30 days of purchase. Very, very poor workmanship. Or workwomanship.
