Cloverway, Inc. was shut down in August 2007 and they deserve to be shut down after what the people did to the Sailor Moon anime back in the Early 2000's. All the original dubbed Sailor Moon actors are innocent and I can't blame them for being forced to do a bad Sailor Moon dub.

Honestly, I like em' all. My absolute favorite has to be Ogata's performance. The others all did pretty well with what they were given (even Sarah wasn't too bad despite all the original dub's problems), but for me personally... Megumi _is_ Haruka.
Megumi Ogata- She's very fitting, her voice is just perfection!, she's one of my favourite Japanese voice actresses next to the late Shiho Niiyama (the voice of Seiya Kou/Sailor Star Fighter.) Junko Minagawa- She sounds a bit like Megumi-sempai, she does great, not my favourite but she does great. Sarah Lafleur- Yeah I know she was unfitting, but she was under bad direction, if you guys never knew, her voice sounded okay, there were some moments were she sounded okay, so in my opinion, I blame the voice director. Erica Mendez- She balances Haruka/Uranus's voice perfectly!, So she is my favourite voice actress for Haruka/Uranus's, I love her voice!
Mendez is Fucking *AWESOME.* No words can describe her voice. I love her so much. To me, she sounds just like Amanda C. Miller, in a calmer Ryuko Matoi.

The acting is no fault of hers but in the directing. I don't know who directed her voice but she had so much potential and it's such a shame. I also have no such bias as I watched the og dub before... I just prefer the Viz dub because the voices suited the characters better and it was closer to the original. I like plenty of the og actors voices but not necessarily for the characters they voiced.
It almost brings a tear to my eyes hearing an english dub where Neptune and Uranus are a couple like they originally are. No more stupid mentions of being cousins, no more lines of them saying that their love isn't "real love", and no more lines that imply that Uranus likes guys. Uranus likes girls and I'm just so happy Viz lets them keep their original sexual orientation. Can't wait for them to dub the part in Crystal where they reveal Uranus is genderfuild
The gender fluid thing was a misunderstanding, she’s actually just gender non conforming, Takeuchi didn’t know the words to explain that so she said that Uranus was like a man and a woman. She is 100% cool with crystal saying she’s gender fluid tho.

So I'm a guy who grew up on the old English dub, and obviously I knew they weren't cousins, and was smart enough to realize they were dating, because of how cute they were. And I always loved Haruka, but I never quite realized how amazing they were. Oh, when they start saying that they're totally not joking about wanting to maybe go out with Usagi, I just died. Thank you Viz media, thank you so much for that. I am a gigantic Sailor Moon fan, but I was really hesitant to watch the new dub because I am not the biggest fan of Usagi's New voice because it just reminds me of Hinata from Naruto. But the actress is fine, and I'm so happy to see that they didn't screw up sailor Uranis or sailor Neptune. It makes me very happy. So I'm going to go watch the show now.
Ogata-san, you are wonderful, my favorite Sailor Uranus (more than Crystal)! I loved listening to your voice while watching the original anime, so I hope your new English voice does you justice. Sarah Lafleur is a nice voice, and my only qualm with that one is it had Haruka and Michiru as cousins and not lovers. YAY FOR ERIKA MENDEZ! She's a lovely new voice for Haruka.

Goodness gracious, the English 90s voice for Uranus is so emotionless. My exposure to her voice actor was mostly the movies and that was passable to me, but during the series...geez. I don't hate it but it's one voice I can't vouch for. Erica Mendez is doing a good job though! I met her before S came out, she's pretty chill~

I thought she was very dry, I agree, most of that was bad directing and awkward writing, but she felt very monotone and bland, someone said on tumblr "Megumi Ogata's Haruka could say the line 'I'm going to the grocery store' and make it sound dramatic and full of consequences" To be honest, I don't think any of the other VAs have been able to manage that, but to me, Sarah was the worst, again, it's not her fault, I don't think anyone could make the Cloverway dialogue seem natural

Sarah LaFleur needs to work on her voice acting role for I felt back then that she was rushed into doing the part and yet her voice did fit the role, Erica Mendez her voice did fit well with the character, but her voice felt strong and bitter, other than that she did quite nicely her role.
My absolute favourite Haruka is definitely Megumi Ogata. And the Clover way dub pains me. Her voice was good if not monotone. But the forced straightness makes me cringe so hard. Ugh. And Michiru's lines make her sound so weak in that dub too when she's more put-together.

The reason why we have someone different for SMC Season 3 because Megumi Ogata, the original VA, wasn't available due to scheduling conflicts with Assassination Classroom (she portrayed Itona Horibe). Annoying, but it happens.

I was not born in the year 1995 when Sailor Moon was released in the USA also the voice of Haruka. I was born in the year 1998 and adore the Viz Media dub version voice of Haruka aka Miss Erica Mendez! : )
Erica is really good! Viz scores some points for Pluto and Uranus. I'll even give them credit for Queen Beryl and Kaorinite even though I prefer the DiC version. They're just about the only characters with decent voices in the Viz dub.
Woof, out of all the actors in the Cloverway dub, Sarah was probably done the dirtiest. It’s so clear she was not given enough time to voice her lines or takes to get them right.
I think she was a miscast. Aside from having little acting experience in general, she clearly struggled to maintain a deep voice , which interfered with her ability to emote. Deborah Drakeford, who played Fish-Eye, would have made a good Sailor Uranus. She had the opposite problem of being directed to make her voice super shrill when she actually has a deep and mature voice.
God I'm dying for them to release the S Movie. I loved how they handled the R Movie, so now I'm just waiting. Kind of wish they'd release it in time for Christmas, considering the snow motif. P.S. I know it takes time to do all this.
Erica Mendez is the english voice actor for killua or gon from hunter x hunter I think. I know for sure she was the voice actor for ryuko from kill la kill.
All of haruka/amara's voices were great, but my favorite voice actress for haruka/amara is sarah from the cloverway dub version of the third season of sailor moon and erica from the viz dub of sailor moon.
A lot of Viz actors do, such talented actors a waste of time. In other works I can clearly hear the emotion. But not Viz Sailor Moon, all they care about is numbers of. likes and comments on social media. Lame.

I don't mind either English voices for her. Though I grew up loving Uranus with Sarah's voice so that version has preference for me.
I love Megumi Ogata with all my heart and soul. Especially since she sang the Rose of Versailles theme.

Junko's voice is the deepest of the lot, and sounds very convincing as a guy. Cool, androgynous and tough
Sarah LaFleur needs to work on her voice acting role for I felt back then that she was rushed into doing the part and yet her voice did fit the role, Erica Mendez her voice did fit well with the character, but her voice felt strong and bitter, other than that she did quite nicely her role.
Sarah was very young doing the dub. Based off of her birthdate, she was 15-20 years old when she voiced Uranus.
Jeez I can't find the difference between Megumi and Junko voices, both made the perfect Uranus voice.

My absolute favourite Haruka is definitely Megumi Ogata. And the Clover way dub pains me. Her voice was good if not monotone. But the forced straightness makes me cringe so hard. Ugh. And Michiru's lines make her sound so weak in that dub too when she's more put-together.

I was not born in the year 1995 when Sailor Moon was released in the USA also the voice of Haruka. I was born in the year 1998 and adore the Viz Media dub version voice of Haruka aka Miss Erica Mendez! : )
Erica is really good! Viz scores some points for Pluto and Uranus. I'll even give them credit for Queen Beryl and Kaorinite even though I prefer the DiC version. They're just about the only characters with decent voices in the Viz dub.

Woof, out of all the actors in the Cloverway dub, Sarah was probably done the dirtiest. It’s so clear she was not given enough time to voice her lines or takes to get them right.
I think she was a miscast. Aside from having little acting experience in general, she clearly struggled to maintain a deep voice , which interfered with her ability to emote.
Deborah Drakeford, who played Fish-Eye, would have made a good Sailor Uranus. She had the opposite problem of being directed to make her voice super shrill when she actually has a deep and mature voice.
Erica Mendez is the perfect translation of the original. カッコいい！
God I'm dying for them to release the S Movie. I loved how they handled the R Movie, so now I'm just waiting. Kind of wish they'd release it in time for Christmas, considering the snow motif.
