This was really nice, but I miss seeing cheaper homes and apartments by new professionals starting out and finding steals in real estate. Seeing higher end is cool and all, but I can’t really relate to it.
Exactly. The more expensive its like the less they show/tell you it seems. There were also a ton of the same shots yet we didnt even see the full property. This series was awesome and now its just getting worse instead of better.
@@Tully3674 LOL. She is nowhere near Silverlake. My friend just sold his 2 bedroom house in Silverlake, and I'm pretty sure it was over 1.4 million...with almost no backyard. He bought it for 900K about 10 years ago. She's in a truly gentrifying area: Midcity, South Central, Boyle Heights--just to name a few. It has to be early stage gentrification. Silverlake is way out of that price point. I just bought 2 years ago, so I'm totally up on the prices...because I'm about to buy another.
@@okaykk It was a long journey. I'd say, first, if you don't have a credit score that is above 750, you need to work on that. I started with a 500 credit score. But I bought a Suze Ohrmann book and focused on improving my score. So, get a free credit report (everyone is entitled to one once a year) and find out your score. I say EASILY $1.2 Million for this freshly renovated house, not to mention a possible (at least)100K extra cash-over-bid due to 11 offers. Gorgeous place!
She definitely has one of my favorite homes from this series. She and her boyfriend actually have a very similar taste to me, being clean, high and open areas, a lot of white and cleanliness (very funny because I’m from the deep south and we loooove filled up spaces) but I LOVE her kitchen. I can’t wait to get out of high school.
Korean, Japanese, and Chinese homes typically "love filled spaces" too (maybe even other Asian households as well, but I can't speak to that). Shrines, trinkets, collectibles, lots of texture, that's the most popular look. I think the newer generation is trying to move away from that. Hence her interior taste, and yours as well it seems.

I agree actually. There's more to the USA than just NYC and LA. I'd love to see what this amount of money would get you in areas that have lower cost of living and therefore having the amount of money that is in this video could get literally a mansion. I'd love to see that.
In Cleveland you can get twice the space she has for half the price she paid (or less). You also never have to worry about sunburn because the sun hardly ever comes out, lol.

Hong Kong will be terrible HAHAH most homes would be tiny and have ikea furniture. I used to have a friend who lived in a massive house with two fields and a fruit garden in Tai Po. Basically you don't get much in La living in a expensive house. Sophie's house is beautiful, but it's so small for that price tag. California is so expensive! You can go to Texas, Arizona, Las Vegas, etc... and get a mini mansion for under 400 thousand.. You can definitely get your money's worth..
As someone born and raised in California, I was looking at that house thinking, "HOLY HELL HOW DID YOU GET SUCH A BIG BACK YARD FOR UNDER 1 MILL IN LA?!" Such a different perspective, lol! Ultimately, I would way rather live in a tiny apartment in California than live in Texas, Arizona, etc. After going to school in NY, Boston, and Louisiana, I never want to leave CA again, and I feel like that's the mindset of most people who live here. We're paying for the privilege living in the place we love most.
@@everglade93 The same here.. I was born and raised in California, living in La all my life. Never ever thought about moving from La. My husband and I joke how we're paying for the weather...lol We have the perfect weather all through the year! We don't have to worry about hurricanes, tornadoes, snowstorm, etc... I was just watching the news and people are complaining how the rent is going up higher and higher. They're trying to get rent control which is crazy how we had to vote on that and people voted no on rent control. If I can get more for less and get a brand new house built from the ground up, that's the direction I want to go in.... but like I said I'm an older person and I'm just ready for that quiet life!! LOL. I'm from LA. And I have that exact bedspread--in grey and rose--from Matteo. I'm also 90% sure I saw that house when it was on the market. For those who are inevitably going to freak out at 600k to a Million for a property: this is the entry level price in LA!
I agree with the other commentors on maybe spotlighting more affordable digs to see how people swing it on a tight budget. Y'all should do one of these in Seattle!
600k is an over the top mansion everwhere else. Granted we cant see the outside... But this seems like a 300k home most place else. That backyard is fabulous though😍
The housing market got out of control in CA. I remember seeing a celebrity on TV even complained about it. Saying that before you would get a mansion for 1 million, and now you get a regular house....I moved to Chicago for school, but I really want to move back to CA. But, I won't be able to afford it...

I like the earthy feel of her home. When she said she was Korean, it all made sense. Its a nice ad for LG appliances. I am curious if she stores Kimchi in her fridge.
I love your back yard! 😍 Your whole house is beautiful 💜
You guys should do Dallas! We have so many people moving to Dallas so it would be a great place to do a Sweet Digs!
for the first time im not salty about sponsorship lmao, those appliances look cool
7 minutes of fridge close ups! Awesome!
She is so classy and stylish! I love her style, very clean and sophisticated.
+lindseywhite Agreed!
Damn I haven't watched Sophia Chang video in ages. This was throwback for me
I love the kitchen!
Those wood beams in the ceiling add so much character to the house...not to mention the ceiling heights.
The house is so aesthetic. I would’ve thought it would be more expensive.
Your house is lovely!
OMYGOD SOPHIA YAAAAAAS GURL! U WINNNINGGGG
Love, love, love love, love your home. That kitchen is calling my name.
Very nice & clean!
Her dad flew from Virginia to LA to work on her backyard lights for 3 days.............. Love
Right bf doesn’t do much I take it
Nat L G he travels a lot for work...may have been out of town.
I Love the home!!! I love how open it is! I also love how chic and cozy! We just brought a new home! Is cozy but we love it!! Unfurnished home tour Video has been posted! Excited about the furnished home tour, that’s way I love watching videos like these!
Spectacular place
This house is goals
+damariusingram 100%!!
Soph! Omg. We see the house in the vlogs but so excited to see a lengthy and detailed tour. Beautiful
What part of LA though? How can you leave that information out? Location Location Location....
I lovee her aesthetic, and she created the DREAM HOME
Love her!!! So happy you guys filmed this!!
+kathypham So happy you watched!
💙 SoSo! Glad she still got this home and is thriving!!! 😊🌺
I love Sophia's channel!!
+blackcrescentangel17 So do we!
LOL. I'm from LA. And I have that exact bedspread--in grey and rose--from Matteo. I'm also 90% sure I saw that house when it was on the market. For those who are inevitably going to freak out at 600k to a Million for a property: this is the entry level price in LA!
What I liked was actually the mustard t-shirt. Where did you get it? Thank you!
I love Sophia!!!
Her style is so cute! Love it
Love it !!!
I super love the outdoor part 😍😍😍
I’m in love with your house !!!!!! ^^
A bedroom with quick kitchen access is my dream home
Beautiful backyard.
I’m sure this has definitely been commented before, but I would love to see sweet digs move around the country to feature other major cities!
Working on it! :)
I agree with the other commentors on maybe spotlighting more affordable digs to see how people swing it on a tight budget. Y'all should do one of these in Seattle!
Yes Sophia! It's about time her home got recognized it's beautifully decorated
Sophie are you wearing the new Proof shirts? 😯
Im not from america so im really curious about the furniture in the backyard? Like what if it rains ?
That fridge though ....”knock knock bish” 😍
Your home is stunning, I love it
Can you guys do other states? Like Georgia, Texas, Vermont, something. There are people that live outside of California and New York.
+kelseym. Working on it & we just did London last weekend!
also what a lovely fridge, wow
600k is an over the top mansion everwhere else. Granted we cant see the outside... But this seems like a 300k home most place else. That backyard is fabulous though😍
The housing market got out of control in CA. I remember seeing a celebrity on TV even complained about it. Saying that before you would get a mansion for 1 million, and now you get a regular house....I moved to Chicago for school, but I really want to move back to CA. But, I won't be able to afford it...
Gorgeous space!!!!! Wow.
We have the same appliances. LG is the best.
I’m here for my girl Sophiaaa ♥️
