    - protein immediately after work out

    Everyone's talking shit about his Roid use. Who cares man. He still has to bust his ass while taking those, he's rich and lived a good life. Roids helped him but aren't what made him. He was driven and had motivation from the start. He's never said he's Natural either so stop bashing him. He trains harder then me or anyone on here

    white rice is a fast releasing carb, while brown is slow. White is hence better post workout when u need nutrients fast and brown preworkout to fuel u throughout those 2-3 hours between meals.

      blankplanet thanks for the laugh! so true, I eat a small meal like a peanut N jam sandwich with a glass of milk and a banana. try that out, it won't get you sleepy. the peanut butter for energy and protein, the jam for the sodium, and taste, the 2 slices of bread for the carbs and a bit of protein, the banana for the natural sugar and potassium and the milk for protein, natural fats, vitamin D and to gulp down the food. the real meals come after the workout!

      I'm not too knowledgeable on this kind of stuff but doesn't post meal food/shake still take a long time to be processed by the body? Like by the foods chewed, digested, absorbed, glycogen stored in Liver and muscles doesn't it render the whole post work out meal pretty useless for the work out just completed?
      I would completely understand a post workout meal for preparing your body for the next workout/replenish stores but to actually be used for the workout just completed, possible?
      I've heard it's got a lot more to do with what was consumed 24-48 hours before that really matters?
      E.G. a steak eaten immediately after a work out, how long realistically until it's been fully processed and is ready to build/repair muscle?
      Is there any truth to what I'm saying? Any advice would be welcome, thanks guys

    yes and always remenber to have a protein shake while your training, and a protein shake when you wake up before breakfast and a protein shake before you go to bed, and a proetin shake in the middle of the the night, otherwise you go catabolic, adn we can not have that.

    I work out at 5:30am every morning. I Don’t eat breakfast, it’s essentially a fasted work out since I don’t like eating that early. Would you guys recommend eating before or just focus on the post workout meal?

    • @shootdasmm
      @shootdasmm 5 років тому

      Fasted workout is fine, it will burn your fat for sure... I only do this when cutting for a competition. I like going to the gym having 2-3 meals in my system already. But only one meal (one right before the gym) would have my carbs. The post workout meals will have my carbs split throughout except for my last 2 meals.

  • @nachtundnebel3175

    why the protein shake first and then the carbs post-workout?

  • @douglashagan65
    @douglashagan65 2 роки тому

    Yeah that white rice is you have to mix the carbo with the protein otherwise the protein will not assimilate into your body that's a fact that's why you have to cut that white rice into that chicken breast in order for you to get the nutrition you need and that's a kick that's the key to you have to throw in a little bit of carbo ratio with the right protein ratios

    I'm on a very tight budget and am trying to put on muscle. I love chicken but can't always afford it to eat like this. I'm thinking about trying cans of tuna fish. Any ideas for good carb sources I can have with my meal that adds lots of protein to equal the 40-50 grams?

    • @shootdasmm
      @shootdasmm 5 років тому

      Chicken is probably the cheapest source of protein, tuna will have more fat. Hake fish is very good option but not for budget. Look into cottage cheese... As for carbs white rice is super cheap...

    Well some doctors suggest that we work out on an empty stomach is because we get more growth hormone stimulation the doctors say that if you eat carbohydrates prior to working out he'll destroy all the GH release this is the natural growth hormone that your body stimulates into to help you build muscle you have to think about what you eat pre and post it's a big deal what's going on
