I’m running it on PC, Full Screen, Xbox controller, 60+ FPS using the Xenia Experimental Emulator. The game plays as smooth as silk… Played this on the xBox360 with my son when it first came out. Even more fun the second time around and having just finished RDR2. You should check it out.

I know for a fact I’m doing it right, I did it right every time on ps3. But something is different, something is broken or bugged bc I swear when I place a white it just immediately goes to a giant red and it’s making me so mad. My favorite thing about Rdr is the duels but the developers had to mess something up. They atleast messed up the stick draw bc the only duels I’ve won so far have been L2 draws. But even now that isn’t working. I appreciate this video but I swear It’s just broke 😭
I swear i've got the same expierience on Nintendo switch every single time. Don't know what's wrong there but it just always cancles out the perfect white aims... needs to be fixed one day!
i still would’ve liked for you to go into the more advanced part of dueling by mentioning the tip i left on your last tutorial video about being able to one shot your opponent by using square to cancel out of dead eye immediately after your first shot goes off
I had no time to test and master this from the time you left your comment, as this latest guide was nearly finished. I will probably at some point make a third dueling guide which focuses on disarming and include your suggestion.
there is. they don’t go into it here, but what you can do is immediately after your first shot goes off, you can press square or your platforms, equivalent to cancel all of your other shots. if you get the timing of the button press down, you can get a clean one shot kill every time
I’m so bad at duels I just started squaring up when someone challenges me to a duel 😂 but the ones I can’t avoid I always lose

Also if you shoot the other persons hand within the first turn, you can disarm the other person which gives you 50 fame, plus 20 sum honor

I didn’t know you could lose duels. The end of epilogue was anticlimactic because duels are just too easy in this game
They are easy, however the game does a horrible job explaining how to win them.

There’s only a few in game duels, but there’s a mod if you’re on pc where you can duel anyone
Easier to beat Mario Bros 1, 2, & 3 with no lives lost than to win duels in Red Dead.
