I had a terrible 13 hour shift today at both my jobs and literally cried when I came home because I had such a long day then I turn my phone off airplane mode saw you guys posted and that made everything better

the place that you guys had the fishballs from 5:05, i remember reading a news article saying that they were extremely dirty. They would make and prep their food on the streets like on the ground. I am not saying that other street foods are extremely clean by any means, but preparing the food on the ground in MK area is just... unappetizing.....

There's a fishball shop in Yau Ma Tei that is the bomb! It's just outside Yau Ma Tei exit A2 and it's better than any of the ones I've tried in Mong Kok.

OMG! I got seriously bad food poisoning from street fish balls in HK the night before a long haul flight back home (UK). I was sick all night and had my sweet grandma rubbing every kind of a herbal medicine on my back!! haha got some great medicine from the doctors there though and managed to keep it together during the flight - lesson learnt!
Dude I think the same! I was feeling home sick when my trip was 2.5 weeks. 1 week in Taiwan and the rest in Hk...I just ran out of places to go to and the worst part was...I couldn't go shopping anymore bc my luggage was full haha! And also...yea the fish ball quality really downgraded. I'll rather buy it from 7-11 than the food stands outside.
