But the English education in mainland is more written test based. I was born and grew up in Guangzhou and moved to the US when i was 15. I went back to GZ at the same time with you guys, English is not elective in guangzhou's school system. We learned English in 4th grade and now kids start learning English even at younger age; however we learned English more in writing and grammar etc and do not have the opportunity to speak more often. Lots people work in guangzhou came from different northern cities and therefore they do not speak Cantonese nor English, only mandarin. The area TIANHE is a upscale/business district, people are mean to each other in general if you go to other local districts, but I am glad you had a good experience in guangzhou !

On the Polaroid, you'd have to adjust the brightness, it'll light up and show you which setting would be best, the adjustment is near the lens I should say? Or you'd turn the dial, it has 4 settings. Every time I use my Polaroid, I sometimes forget to check which setting would do best. Hopefully that helps! 😊

Lots and lots of good food in that area. In my opinion, it is way better than Tianhe district. Beijing Road is Yuexiu District, it is more of the "old Guangzhou", where as Tianhe is the new CBD.

For the Polaroid camera you have to turn the lens to where it's lit on the front ex. If the house is lit turn the lens to the house. Hope this helps!
