I agree. I do gain perspective from traveling. I make sure to interact with the locals, bc it's important for me to not just relax/vacation, but also to gain a more accurate perception of the place I'm visiting.

Oh, I totally agree with the traveling thing. Gives you a whole new outlook on life. I like being able to see other cultures and how they work. It's interesting how different it could be. I'm currently living in South Korea, and the difference of food portions, in comparison to the US, is outstanding! I've noticed the smaller drinks and fries too!
I heard about the MTR incident too. It happened the day after I left HK and I was pretty shocked. I believe that because you guys are genuinely nice people with good hearts, that's why God set you guys from harm and danger, thus allowing you guys to sleep through the alarms. Glad that you guys are safe
wait you're in HK right? There's tons of laundry places in HK where you just go, drop off a bag of dirty clothes, they wash it for you, and you can pick it up later that day. It's pretty cheap too, like $10 USD for a whole bag? Check it out next time. Like there's a whole street of in Mongkok called "Sai Yee Street" which literally means "Laundry Street" lol

After getting on the minivan, I heard the news about the fire and was shocked.. we could've been on that very train. I'm glad you guys were safe and away from the chaos and definately agree that everyone should always beware of their surroundings wherever they go.

And so when I went there there was only a small group of us since the year before was the terrorist attacks and stuff at the Palace of versaille. I'm really happy that nothing happened to us whole we were there and actually the day or two after there were like floods and stuff that they canceled a bunch of things so we were there perfect timing and went home at great timing too. I am just really happy that you guys are safe, and I will pray for those families that were affected by that!

I usually handwash my clothes during month long travels either in the sink for smaller, lighter garments or in the tub. and ofc hotels always have hangers to air dry

Yes, americans portion sizes are insane. I'm from Australia and when I went to America I was blown away and unsuprised at the obesity rate when I saw the portion sizes.
Hahaha love you guys! Did you know you could have taken all your dirty Landry to the laundromat just behind the mall? It's way cheaper and I bet that's where the hotel goes lol furthermore!!!!! You didn't have to take your bags to airport. You could have taken and checked in at the "in town check in" at Kowloon station (elements mall) check your huge bags in there where they transport your luggage to airport too and then you're free to have a wander around ... then make way to airport on train and just get on the plane!
This hotel is amazing and the location is extremely convenient !! I always stay there when my friends come around to visit me. I wich i could meet you guys in honking but unfortunately i am in the UK Hope to see you guys in one day!!!! Best wishes!! Love love love
