I was very lucky to have played with Steve Gadd, Wayne Shorter, Eddie Gomez, Hugh McCracken, Toots Thielmans and others on a Philippe Sarde film soundtrack in Paris in the 80's. I even gave Steve a lift from his hotel in the centre of town to the studio beyond Bois de Boulonge. An incredible musician, and such a down-to-earth guy.

Steve does it all. He's been on so many albums with so many different musicians and styles of playing and sounds great on all. He has the ability to add so much with his subtle ideas and complementary approach.
