Bruce is an American poet, his concerts are a marathon. I love your reaction and thanks for posting. New subscriber here, best of luck with your channel.✌️❤️🎵
The lyrics for "Born To Run" were included in the poetry textbook for my college English class. (there was a Paul Simon song in there too, but I don't remember which one.)
The Mighty Max Weinberg is the drummer. Him, along with Roy Bittan (pianist) performed on Meatloafs debut album Bat Out of Hell also - amazing musicians.
They both performed on Bonnie Tyler's Faster Than The Speed of Night album as well, along with Rick Derringer on guitar. Of course, Meatloaf and Bonnie Tyler were outlets for the great Jim Steinman's music. Jim was inspired by the Born To Run album. He aspired to write powerful, dramatic music like that.

I want to know where to find the tracks you used for the intro and outro to this video, but Bruce is an OG rocker for sure! I was pretty much named after the guy, and his music has inspired me through many of life's....situations. lol. His lyrics paint mental portraits, and the music supports those images so well! OG members include Bruce, Max Wienberg, Nils Lofgren, "Little" Steven van zandt, Clarence clemons, "the professor" Roy Bittan, Garry Tallent, and Dan Federici. Forgive me if I'm forgetting anyone
I appreciate that, both the intro & outro are songs by my cousin Keith Rice, the intro is a song called "Dawg" & The outro is a song called Draco, he's got some good work, he plays all his instruments & sings & raps, & just is a music lover & it comes accross in his music. And that's so cool you were named after Bruce! lol. And thanks for breaking everyones names down for me., you can check out my cousins music on all the streaming platforms & here's a direct to the 2 songs Dawg: ua-cam.com/video/557SWjidq_M/v-deo.html Draco: ua-cam.com/video/8acQRKn1dAM/v-deo.html
Thank you! Keith's music is amazing and refreshing! I just finished listening through both tracks, and I'm excited to hear more! So glad the algorithm recommended your video to me today! Looking forward to more content from both of you!
You definitely covered the band members who combine going back to the early days of E Street, and long tenure. (Patti also began at approximately the same time as Nils, in '84) Soozie Tyrell has been playing with Bruce since the early 90s, and Jake Clemons, since i think '12. Going back to the beginning and the first couple of albums you could also add Vinni Lopez, and David Sancious. (And Clarence "Boom" Carter who played drums on one recording.... "Born to Run" :-)
I was at the tour that this footage was filmed from, Giants Stadium 1985 Jersey! Bruce also won an Oscar for best Original Song, Streets Of Philadelphia , from the movie Philadelphia.
Oh yeah, that was the "born in the USA" Tour. Yes,I capitalize out of respect. Anyhow, I saw Bruce and the E street in 2016 in Dublin and it was Phenomenal. It was the replay of the River album tour. I had less mood altering substances in my mind then. Best show I've ever been to.
If you're a fan of the Sopranos you might also recognize the guitarist wearing the bandana: Steven "Little Steven" Van Zandt played Silvio Dante, Tony Soprano's right hand man.

This is a video and a song of a generation. Thank you!
This is why he is known as the "Boss".

The drummer is Max Weinberg. He was also Conan O'Brien's bandleader on "The Tonight Show"and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien".
So many songs to recommend, literally dozens.
I will just pick one: "Backstreets" - one of his epics

Hi Mike, I also recognize some footage from Ireland, Slane Castle 1985. 85,000 heaving masses. We are not old. Repeat after me. We are not ...:)

@@thebillryan Bruce is from New Jersey, so just imagine a Jersey stadium crowd on 8/18/1985 lol I still have the ticket stub $17.50 !
There is also footage from LA late Sept/ early Oct 1985 and I was there. Haven't been to a Bruce concert since then, excited to be going in February.
It must be the greatest song of all time..

Max Weinberg on drums
One of the reasons this band is so tight is because they rehearsed A LOT. Thanks for the view.
Spiritual experience
Bruce live is the best...how about "Out on the street" from the NYC concert or "Loght of Day" from same concert?
Thunder Road is excellent. You need the lyrics
5:34 that sea of people tho WOAH!
After Elvis……..There was Bruce!
U should listen to “Out in the Street” live at Glastonbury 2009
Go Lions!
